Don't waste your time.
I'll start off by saying, I'm not a professional carpenter. But, I'm handy, I'm not stupid, and I know how to draw a straight line. This tile cutter is a cheap, flimsy piece of junk. I bought one brand new and used it for a relatively small job...tiling a kitchen countertop, around 30 sq ft of space. I struggled to get this thing to cut straight right out of the box. 9/10 times, it would not. It was not a matter of me not holding the tile straight or anything like that...it's just cheap and flimsy, and parts of it bow while you're using it. Funny how on the outside of the box it actually says, "A blend of steel and space age polymers" (fancy word for plastic). There's nothing space-age about this thing. Spend some money on a better cutter.

Functional for the first 20 tiles and then not able to do the work
It can last for the first 20 tiles and then the blade starts to blunt and you need to replace the blade or you end up with uneven cuts.

A good value for a low-priced tile cutter
I only need something that would cut 4.25-inch tile and a few bull nose tiles. This cutter is overkill for me and I could probably have made truer cuts with a scribe and triangle. My reasoning was clouded by my desire to learn how to use a tile cutter, so I opted for the dedicated cutter. I'm happy with the product in general but I find it difficult to make a cut that is perpendicular to the side of the tile. My cuts all slant slightly no matter how hard I try to keep the tile positioned flat against the stop. I am going to blame this on myself as having poor technique since I am a novice at cutting. It is difficult to position the cutter at my mark on the tile as the cutting assembly obscures the wheel where it touches the tile. I give it four stars for doing the job, not in a great way, but in a reasonably good way.

good tile cutter
only used it for one little job but worked great & I like the fact that you can use the little breaker bar ti cut smaller tile.

Unusable
Arrived broken, torn off the plastic screws holding the machine down, so no pressure could be exerted. Cheap and nasty machine with minimal instructions and difficult to adjust settings. In general, a lemon. Do not buy.

Avoid This Product!
This device is a complete waste of money. The handle snapped off when trying to score a 12x12 tile. It's cheaply designed and no better than the QEP units you can purchase elsewhere for less money.

It worked fine, until the handle broke
It worked fine, until the handle broke. I tried to find replacement parts and found nothing. So that's for NATTCO products.
