I have been metal detecting for a few years, and was excited to find a completely submergeble for such a great price. I used it at a local lake multiple times, it made search faster than the handheld unit I have, it was nice to use the discriminate option. I found way less trash and lots of coins. My biggest complain are the headphones, they are so loose, keep coming off if I was to put my head in the water to dive down to dig up something. I ended up having the headphones around my neck most of the time as I snorkeled. If the they could make headphones that stay led on or where snug on your head they would be great. The headphones are really bad, I almost returned it because of the. But if you are only a few feet in water, the headphones are manageable.

It's a pretty basic detector and the one we got was a bit glitchy. No matter how we set it, the slightest wave would sound it off. Tested it for depth and it did not fair well after 4 inches of sand which was disappointing. This was a gift for a kid but I should have put in a few more dollars and get a better one.

Brilliant project does what it says on the tin. This is my second time buying the same detector and im not disappointed at all.

The headset is cheap plastic. Broke the first time i used it. In addition the alert on it is so quick and faint its almost worthless. The descrimination doesnt seem to discriminate. Only finding nails and screws even when i am staring at the coin i placed there. Im sad it didnt work well

I’ve had another metal detector for a few years and have used it occasionally. Still never found anything valuable, but I’ll keep trying. A friend recommended the SuperEye metal detector. I decided to get it so that my friends and family could join me in quests on the beach. I tested it in my backyard this weekend. It was able to find all the coins I buried. I even buried a gold charm and it worked well as a gold detector. I like the noises it makes and the feel of the device. I eager to try it out in the field soon.

Overall, The machine is fantastic,features all you need for a day of adventure.. from the arm rest ,handgrip , functions and coil you have a tools pardner you can enjoy whatever mode you choose. The pp fuction works to eliminate hot minalized. Stuff you don't want to pick up..

I used it in my yard for 10 minutes. Worked good. I then took it to a creek for an hour, worked good. Next day I went back to the creak snd it worked for 5 minutes, and then it acted like it found something constantly and the sound was a cracking sound. Changed battery but it is still defective. I bought Warrenty, and I need to send it back. I think it got water in it. Like maybe it was not sealed well. Hopefully the replacement will be better.

This gold detector is easy to assemble out of the box and use. It's also light weight, great for holding long periods of time. Important: Read the instructions, as it walks you through how to tune your gold detector. Great find!

it was almost useless it would only go off right on top of the item and not every time either
