Did not solve hot water line hammering
The product only resolved issued with cold water supply to kitchen sink. Unfortunately it only slightly improved the hot water line (issued not resolved as advertised)

The product performed as described.It solved my problem of a banging pipe.

Don't knock it.
Put one each on the hot and cold lines to a bathroom faucet that was causing the pipes to knock under the house when the faucet was turned on. I guess some faucets let a lot of water flow instantly enough to cause that. Anyway, these fixed the problem with only a wrench rather than cutting copper pipe and sweating joints. Much cheaper than possible water damage from failed house water pipe joints.
