Works better than most but has some issues.
The media could not be loaded. Works better than most but has some issues.Orderd these due to a family of mice invaliding our house. Had two like this last year the best I could find at the time little small tail may get trappedin door. But when I orderd these to get more I was pleased to see they were twice as big. Got two the first night.Instructions are easy to use but some small mice if the walk in slowly don't set it off and eat and leave.If you can see there path they use try to put them in the way so they would run in setting it off that helped to get some of the younger ones.Easy to clean.Now all the mice family have a new home where there welcomed elsewhere.And we are left in peace.Try to find where the come in to stop in future. In our case next door broke there vent came thru cavity and made a hole through.Be sure to close.

Very humane
As someone who loves animals but doesn't want them in her home! Theae are perfect. So humane so it doesn't hurt the little mice. I always put some food In the storage comparentment which attracts the mice so quickly. Never failed

This works quickly and is humane
I purchased these traps because they are humane and had really good positive reviews. My husband said to me why have you bought posh traps that wont work... I said they are not posh, they are humane and will work and I dont want to kill the mice. I wasn't confident that they would work but based on the repeated high number of good reviews from previous customers, I made a purchase.We have never had a problem with mice in our house but I noticed droppings in a kitchen cupboard on Sunday. Trap delivered on Monday, placed in the cupboard that evening with cheese as bate (classic I know!). This morning this is what we found (please see picture attached).I was worried to pick the trap up incase the mouse jumped around I dropped it... and then it would escape into our house! I was finally brave and picked the trap up and the mouse didn't panic in the trap. I placed it in my car foot well and took it to a local open field away from houses and watched it bounce away happily into the field. I must admit my husband did the release part. But I will try tomorrow if we catch more overnight.If you would like a supper effective quick humane way to catch mice, I highly recommend this. Overnight we already caught and released one. I will post more tomorrow if we catch more this evening. P.s. the trap has vents so the mouse can still breath if caught overnight.Update: caught another the next morning too, unharmed and confident the trap will repeat each night overnight.I may buy more just to speed up catching them before they breed. Apparently they breed quick! And I'm looking forward to having my kitchen back!We've only lived in our house for a year (two winters) and I think they have climbed in through an old tumble drier hole that was filled up with cement, but not fully filled perhaps. Next to do!

It works! Nice and simple
Our pack of 2 arrived around lunchtime - by 5.30pm the same day, our unwelcome little visitor was inside one of them! Quite safely, I might add. We followed the instructions and used peanut butter as a lure. The only slightly awkward bit is getting the "bait" end open to add some, or to let the little critter out but managed it eventually.We followed the instructions again and drove a few miles away to where there were was an abandoned cottage and let it out there. Does exactly what it says! Captures the mouse cleanly and safely, allowing you to let it out so it can go on its way. Very pleased.EDIT (some months later): I've downgraded from 5 to 3 stars as they just DON'T last - the spring mechanism weakens all too quickly making the hatch impossible to stay down. And the cleaning sponge is rubbish - the sponge part comes off the plastic handle after a couple of uses when in water and is pretty useless after that. Mouse poo gets stuck under the sprung part and is a real pain to get cleaned out.We've bought 2 packs this year (so 4 traps) and only 1 trap still works - and that spring is getting harder to set. We only bought the 2nd pack as the 2 in the first both stopped working. These are a great idea - just no longevity at all.

Oh my goodness! I nearly chose different ones like these on here but shorter in length and reviews said mice got tails stuck! ..but not these ones! Works a treat. Only got delivered today! Cat brought a mouse in last night and then lost it and gave up!! 😫 I was all round the room looking...and could hear it sometimes!! Ordered these last night..came today. Baited with half cut grapes and peanut butter. Put it next to skirting near where I thought mouse was hiding and covered with a newspaper..its taken about 6hrs...then SNAP!! ..MOUSE NOW RELEASED nice and safely outside. Easy to use and big enough not to hurt it! Very pleased...and extremely relieved!!

Didn’t catch nothing
Had quite a few mice popping into our house tried several gadgets not much luck these traps didn’t do the job.

Lo califico con un 10 de efectividad ,desde el primer día me funcionó ,y lo mejor que no le hacen daño ninguno a los ratoncitos ,después lo suelto en el campo ,todos tenemos derecho a la vida ,gracias por este buen invento estoy en contra de todo maltrato animal .

Très pratique à installer, je mets un petit morceau de pain avec du beurre de cacahuète et 24/48 heures et j'attrape la bestiole lol. nous qui pensions avoir une souris, on en est à la septième musaraigne attrapée !

Hat sehr gut funktioniert!
Die Falle hat sehr gut funktioniert, als eine Waldmaus in unserer Küche ihr Unwesen trieb.Für eine bereits vorhandenen Käfigfalle (der Typ, bei dem der Köder an einem Haken im Käfig hängt) war die Maus zu schlau, weil sie diese vermutlich zuerst von außen beklettert und dadurch den Schließmechanismus ausgelöst hatte. Diese Plexiglasfallen haben das Problem nicht; der Köder wird in einem Einschub am Ende der Falle deponiert, das Schließen der Tür am anderen Ende wird durch eine Bodenplatte ausgelöst, und ein ungewolltes Auslösen von außen ist nicht möglich. Diese Falle ist auch etwas größer als die Käfigfalle, und sie ist mit ihrem transparenten, braun getönten Aufbau schwerer als solche auszumachen.Als Köder habe ich Vogelfutter aus Getreide und Nüssen ohne Schale verwendet und damit das untere Drittel des Köder-Einschubs gefüllt (Lebensmittel und sonstige Nahrungsquellen wurden natürlich unerreichbar weggeschlossen).Die erfolgreiche Falle wurde in einer schattigen, abseits der Zimmertür gelegenen Ecke des Raumes aufgestellt, entlang der Wand, mit dem offenen Ende zum Raum hin.Bei der Maus handelte sich um ein ausgewachsenes Tier. Irgendwelche Anpassungen von wegen Empfindlichkeit des Auslösers o.ä. musste ich nicht machen. Nach gut 6 Stunden war die Maus gefangen; dabei wurde sie augenscheinlich nicht verletzt.Zur Haltbarkeit und Robustheit kann ich nach einmaligem Einsatz nichts sagen, aber soweit sind keine Schäden feststellbar.Somit empfehle ich diese Falle gerne weiter.
