PomStream Wireless Digital Thermometer with Probe

Usually I will buy some random stuff off Amazon and might play with it a few times and if I don't use it anymore I will end up giving it away especially if its a good product someone could use. This product was awful. The screen barely works and it gets worse every time you use it. The alarm won't stop going off and it will report temps at 500 degrees eventhough you are doing everything right. Don't waste a dime and I would have to saw half these reviews are fake.

Product does not give an accurate reading. It registered 195 degrees plus in multiple spots on a chicken. I was surprised to see that I over cooked it, and I grill a lot! But another thermometer in which I trust registered 140. I cut it open and sure enough it was not done. The product is defective.

Thermometer never worked. The product never gave accurate temperatures. I bought this product for my dad to use on his smoker and when he put the probe into raw meat it read 180 F and would slam into 500 F which isn't possible on a smoker. It would also start alarming and wouldn't stop when cleared. It would hope for a electronics to undergo some testing before leaving manufacturer.

I bought this Wireless Digital Thermometer from PomStream on Sept. 1, 2015. I didn't use the product until Oct.. 9. It turned out to be defective. It was made in China and is a piece of crap. Buyer beware!

Doesnt seem to read temperature properly. Bought this to use when smoking and didnt read my meat temperature right at all. Plus drains batteries really fast.

Cheap quality. Back light is weak and in awkward position. Worst of all, I can't change or turn off the audible alarm!

It worked, but is next to impossible to read and the probe stopped working after the 1st use.

It seemed like a nice enough product until we used it and the temperature kept increasing to 500*, when we knew that was not accurate... Tried it a couple times to be sure it wasn't an error, but returned and will be purchasing a different product.
