Bawoo grow lights. Low power and simple to set up.
I have been using this Bawoo 30W grow lights for a short while now on my young indoor tomato and pepper plants. I can honestly say I can notice an improvement over the plants that are not in the light. Looking forward I can see stronger plants and increased yields in the months to come.Construction of the lights is mainly from metal and very sturdy. The clip is strong enough to hold the unit firmly on the table / bench top and the three light arms stay where they are positioned. At only 30 watts power consumption it is really cheap to run. There's a choice of red / blue or both with 3 hours to 12 hours timer and a four stage dimmer.I have researched using LED lights for growing before making this purchase. They can be small home size like this Bawoo right up to industrial size installations. At this time I reckon I can recommend these for small time home growers like myself especially in the UK as our weather is not always with abundant sunshine.

Decent grow light.
It helped stop my bonsai from dying through lack of sufficient light. The timer is pretty spot on and having control of all three light is handy. The clamp is sturdy and even with the small lip of the fireplace mantle that the light is clamped to, it doesn't move.It allows you to change from red, blue or red/blue and through trial and error I found the red light encourages leaf growth in my Chinese Elm. I have it set for 12 hours on and 12 off but you can change it. As long as you don't disrupt the cycle it will continue.I bought 3 different grow lights to see which would be best and this one is the one I am sticking with.

good starting option
Easy to have on in the background, and my sprouting seedlings liked them. I've now purchased a full spec light and am having some problems. I'd recommend these as a cheap option for starting, we'll have to see now how they go on the older plants.

An impressively built and versatile grow light
This grow light has impressed me.The build of it is decently sturdy, the spring clip is strong and grips well. The lights are a decent build, not flimsy at all with a decent casing around them. The stalks could be a bit stiffer but then if they were I'd probably be saying that they're too stiff to position easily. Either way they hold above my plants well enough. The control is simple and easy to work out and as for the lights themselves they are a great brightness. I'll have to come back to the review later on to say whether they've done the job but they seem to be doing well already.

Most impressive light
The light is of very good quality, the timer function works well too, I have it set to come on at night so my pepper plant gets sunshine 24 hours, it works! The peppers have grown quite a bit more than they did before the light.

Works, but cheap as expected.
Works, cheap as expected. Get what you pay for. Did have a issue with wire but wasn't worth hassle of sending back. It works!

Most important thing--they work!
The dull Scottish winter is really not great for indoor plants! This year, as a lockdown hobby, I've grown the range of plants we have to over 40. However, there are many plants that really don't thrive when daylight is so limited (and others have sadly perished!)I was a bit sceptical about this, to be honest. However, over the last couple of weeks, I've seen my recent acquisitions really flourish (String of Hearts, String of Pearls, Satin Pothos, and a couple of palms). The first two in that list were really not in great shape when they arrived, due to a combination of poor handling and shipping delays, but they've come on well.As has been commented on, the timer functionality isn't great and is quite limiting. But it's easy enough to, say, have it coming on for 12 hours then off for 12, etc. Or they can be manually controlled.I am going to test whether they can be powered from a USB battery bank as that might allow a degree of flexibility.Very happy overall.

Poor timer function
Everything about these lights is good and as expected except the timer function. Not very practical or user friendly and doesn't even work.Followed instructions to set 6h timer - the lights on the control buttons light up the "6h" function when selected and the lights then turn off to come on again in the selected time. Lights do come on again in the selected time but do not turn off again after 6 hours. So fine if you want to delay the lights coming on, but no good if you want them on a regular cycle. Lights do not work with a timer plug either, so can't get around the impractical built in timer function with use of a timer plug as lights don't come back on again without pressing the buttons.
