Perfect for espresso! A great value!
The scale is exactly as advertised. It worked out of the box, and I haven't seen any of the issues others described. The scale is just big enough for my 49mm portafilter- if you have a very large filter, it might not fit (but you could easily put something in between to handle a larger size). The timer works just fine for timing espresso shots. It can be set up to count down, but since it doesn't save the setting, it's generally not worth the extra steps. A great value for the price, and it looks great!

Excellent for the price
I haven't had this for long so I can't speak to durability but its very easy to use, seems accurate (it is consistently weighs the same objects such as my portafilter, carafe, coffee mug, ect.). It has the tare function and a timer. I use it to get exactly 17 grams of coffee into my portafilter and then use the timer function to see if I get a double shot within 25-30 seconds. So far I'm quite pleased with it.

More than worthy of the price tag
This scale is a pretty good deal. I already own a Etekcity digital scale and was happy with it until I started wishing it had 0.1g resolution for coffee prep. That is when I picked this one up. It seemed cheaper than a lot of the other products in its segment, and with its generic name ("Coffee Scale"), it seemed like a worthy gamble given the price point. The scale looks like a clone of a very popular scale with a well-established brand name that rhymes with Mario. I have not used that particular scale so cannot compare the functioning of the two, but they do look similar,It wanders sometimes when dealing with coffee beans which is the one of the reasons I am docking a star. This occasional "con" is more pronounced due to the 0.1g resolution - but then again, I shouldn't complain given the price, and I am willing to look past it especially because it doesn't happen all the time. However, another reason for docking a star: the buttons don't provide any tactile feedback when pressing them so you push the button and sometimes nothing happens. The buttons are somewhere between touch-sensitive and traditional push buttons... again, please consider that this does not have any effect in regular use most of the time.Other than that, no complaints on this one, more than happy with its performance, and if it comes back in stock I'd be looking to buy one more to keep in my office - given its price.

decent scale, poor buttons
The scale and timer work well enough, but the experience is marred by buttons that are difficult to use and have a lot of lag.

If You Are a Home Brewing Wannabee, Do This
I set out wanting an OXO scale for pour over, after seeing some marketing video. It looked cool. It is cool. Then I counted my pennies and decided I'd rather keep buying good coffee. This scale nicely weighs your grounds and times your pour. It also can double just fine for a general kitchen scale (for that 10 times a year, you need one) up to 6lbs. No turkeys. Yes, it's plastic and I don't care. The silicon mat is a nice touch. It runs off of standard size batteries (either AA or AAA, can't remember). It works just fine on rechargeable ones. Up your game and get this!

NOT for espresso, its No. one claim
This is a very good scale with a built-in timer, works great for the pour-over as described in manual but absolutely useless for use with an espresso machine, which is what it claims to be for. FAR TO BIG to actually sit on machine to weigh/time a shot. although the timer is handy I have a watch that does the same

Least expensive 0.1 gram scale works just fine
After looking at various espresso scales and reading negative reviews for some of the less expensive ones, I decided to buy this one anyway. Considering that some of them cost over $100--despite looking very similar--I decided to take a chance. I couldn't be happier. The build quality is fine, it's responsive and accurate. I have a 100 gram calibration weight that came with a much smaller 0.1 gram scale that I bought years ago for my son's middle school science fair. This scale shows it weighs 100 grams exactly.

Faceplate always come up.
How to make coffee in the morning. Step 1: Align and fix faceplate on scale. Step 2: start making your coffee. The scale itself is good. Looks good and works well, but every morning the faceplate has peeled up. When I received it, it was completely missed aligned and I had to fix it. Didn't think it was a big deal but every morning it's popped up. If I store the scale vertically, the faceplate slides off and is completely missaligned.I guess you get what you pay for, but I bought a regular kitchen scale from Amazon and it works perfectly. If you don't want to fix your scale EVERY TIME you use it, this is not for you.

The media could not be loaded. Buena báscula.Pantalla brillante y respuesta rápida durante el vertido, por el precio vale la pena, me agrado que las baterías estén incluidas.
