One of my favorite items in the kitchen now, this set of colanders is really high-quality, and beautiful.

The price on Amazon for the set was so low compared to other vendors who were selling the pieces "a la carte" or Goop which was selling the set for almost twice as much as on Amazon that I feared these might be counterfeit, but no the ones I received are the genuine "made in Japan" article.Like many Japanese products, they are manufactured well and just work for their intended purpose. They nest perfectly and I love that they have no plastic parts to gather dust. The perforated steel is also much easier to clean food residue from then plastic strainers or wire mesh strainers. I threw out all my old strainers now that I have these.Finally, if you want to leave them out nested on the kitchen counter, they are not an eyesore. In the middle of a Covid pandemic where we are spending inordinate amounts of time at home, it is the small things that give joy and having these attractive and highly functional strainers in my kitchen are definitely sparking joy.

These stacking strainers are fabulous in form and function. They are wonderful to use and super easy to clean. I have the set of stainless steel bowls that match these strainers, and I don’t know how I waited so long before buying these.

These are sturdy, beautifully designed, and wonderful to use. I highly recommend them without reservation. Get the Sori Yanagi stainless bowls and also get these strainers that fit them perfectly.
