Replacement Coffee Filter Pads, for Filtron Cold Brewer, 2/pack

Works very good, except pull tab comes off after a couple of times used.

I took off one star for having to a use a chopstick to poke it out each time, but otherwise does well for the price.

I read some of these reviews and all I can say is WAAAAH. So you have to stick a pen in the bottom to pop the filter out. This filter fits my filtron cold brew system just as well as the twice as expensive filtron filters. I use those cheap compatible filters on top of these to prolong their life. Well worth the price. That's the only thing those "compatible" filters are good for. Second, I use a milk bag to filter the grind. Most of the pre-ground coffees are full of grind dust making mud when you cold brew it. Hence the multiple filters. Some of you may not be as critical of their home brew as i am. I've been cold brewing years before it became popular and used to grind my own. If you grind I suggest a good burr grinder and absolutely not a blade grinder. Blade grinders produce quite a bit of dust which, as I said, turns to mud and clogs your filters making them junk, having to be changed long before they should be. Just to be clear, this is how I cold brew. I'm not telling anyone else how to do it, just making suggestions that some might find useful.

These filters do not have the tabs on the top like the Filtron filters do. Not as convenient. They seem to be of similar material, but unlike the Filtron ones, the instructions with these knock offs, say to boil before use. Not sure I’ll keep them.

I have a Filtronic cold water brueing system bought from Amway catalog over 40 years ago & these filters work great in it.

I’ve always used the Filtron system. These filters claim to be a replacement for filtron filters. They’re a little large so you really have to struggle to insert them. Also, they drain very, very slowly. It took 2 days to drain the extract. Not the same quality as my last purchase.

These filters were net Filtron filters. There is no pull tab to remove it from the coffee maker. Had to pry it out with a knife. Faulty. Disappointed.Will buy from Filtron the next time.

It seems to be a good match to Filtron's Cold Brew System filter

These are very similar to the filtron filters for cold brew. They just don’t have the little tab to pull them out with. But I haven’t found it a problem. We’ve been using this filter with a paper filter over top of it, and it’s been amazing. Highly recommend!
