So far, I like them, although they may be too bright...
At first, I was not sure about the plastic covers, but in my case, it might be better...I call these impolite lights, they are being used as turn signals...They are impolite because they are brighter and they are much quicker changing between light and dark, almost strobe-like. They will make for effective turn-signals, I just would not want to be behind myself...

Stay with a proven brand!
I bought 2 sets and I plugged them in and they lasted about a minute! I tried them in another vehicle and same result! I ordered 3 sets one came damaged so I wouldn’t recommend them! I didn’t return them because I chalked it up to learning experience!

Very Bright
Update: 12/28/2021 - The original set lasted one week. Amazon replaced them. The replacement set lasted about the same length of time.This is a very bright 1156 LED type bulb. Perfect for DRL and turn signals. Very reasonably priced.
