Wancetang Chinese Calligraphy Painting Brush Set of 4 Flower Bird Line-Drawing Brushes

I've been looking for lining brushes but can't afford the high price tag and then I finally found these. They will work perfectly for what I need. The plastic handle is nice and light and the brush both feels nice and paints perfectly. One thing, the smallest one paints two lines and I had a hard time avoiding that on my testing page. I might have to trim that one (or somehow use it to my advantage), but the other's paint beautifully. I recommend these brushes for anyone looking to experiment with inking or calligraphy or anyone looking for an affordable brush set.

I use these in watercolor painting. Those who do any fine detail with standard brushes will understand what I mean when I say you can do the fine details of an entire eye with one of these without dipping back into the paint.

This brush has a very fine tip it yet holds good amount of ink. Easy to control.

Plastic shafts, not bamboo as listing states. I suspect they aren't the branded set. The chinese characters are missing from the shaft and the box insert is slightly different. Don't know about the quality - I'll update when I've tested them, but they are a janky plastic that I can't hang on my preserved tree branch brush hanger.***UPDATE** I decided to return them, as they were just really nasty looking. Unfortunate, as the tips looked good. However seeing as Asian calligraphy and painting is as much about the aesthetics of the experience, as of the work itself, I just couldn't do it - I've had better looking plastic brushes from Daiso, so I balked at the price of them as well.
