I already purchased the previous model of this fountain but didn’t love the plastic top because it was so hard to keep clean. When I saw they had a new model with a metal top I was so happy! Here are my pros and cons on this fountain:Pros:-Extremely easy to clean and holds a lot of water.-View window on the front makes it simple to see how much water is left without having to take the entire top off.-The filter next to the pump is a dream. The old model used to get clogged rather often. So far no issues with this one.-I have two cats and they both love the moving water, especially since it is crazy quiet.Cons:-That little blue LED is BRIGHT!!! And there is no way to turn it off or unplug it, because the cord is connected directly to the pump. If you keep this in your bedroom like I do and you also like to sleep in the dark, then you’re going to run into some issues. I could’ve swore it was high noon when it was really midnight. Luckily the LED is on a longish cable so I wrapped some electrical tape around it and tucked it out of the fountain. It’s a shame, though, because it’s a cool feature.-The cord is really long. I’m sure to some others this is a pro, but for me putting it right next to an outlet, with no place to put the extra cord under the fountain, it’s just in the way.Overall, I love this fountain and so do my cats. This fountain is much cheaper price wise than other fountains, but that’s where the cheapness stops. High quality fountain that is reliable. I would be giving it five stars if that blue light wasn’t so bright, but since that light is basically a useless feature to me now, I can only give this 4 stars. Still, if you can overlook the light or you’ll have this in a place where that doesn’t matter, buy this now!

Two big reasons I would never buy again: 1. I hate the BRIGHT light — that can’t be turned off! 2. The “window” where you are supposed to figure out when it needs more water is bazaar and negatively affected by that bright light I mentioned earlier. Also since I have the water fountain on the floor, I would need to lie flat on the ground to even try to figure out if the “gage” is showing that it needs additional water.

Do not buy this please don't my kitten liked it at first and I was happy with it when I looked over and saw the water flow was no longer working I went to fix it and changed the filter still wasn't working so I checked where you out the water and it was full of bugs my house doesn't have bugs and the water I added was fresh bottled water so there's no way they could have got there from the water quality this product is bad bad bad.

This is the second one I have tried. The first one was a joke. So far, this one is amazing! It came with 4 filters, and they weren't joking when they said it was quiet. Not only do I not hear the motor, but I don't hear the water either. The other one came with 1 filter that turned the water yellow and chunky, but you couldn't buy replacement filters. This one has none of those issues.My ONLY mild complaint is that it doesn't have a removable basin so in order to clean it, I will have to unplug it.

Great quality! I bought two. I have 5 cats. 3 out of the 5 use the fountain. The 2 that don't are skittish and frighten easily so I'm not surprised. Pleasant sounding and easy to clean. You just drop it in the dishwasher and it's clean. I hand wash the 4 piece pump, because the pieces are tiny, but I think they could go in the utensil bin in the washer without falling out.

My cat loves her fresh water fountain. I like that it has a charcoal filter and it comes with a total of 4 filters. 2 different flower tops. My cat doesn’t bother me for fresh water out of the sink anymore. It has led light and water level. Totally worth the money.

It’s a great dish. But my cats refused to get near it. I tried to return it and was told I couldn’t!? An expensive thing to add to the pile of things my cats won’t use.... I watch what who I am buying from now because they won’t get another dime of my money!

I have an 18-year old cat who absolutely loves this fountain. At first, she drank out of the basin and was constantly getting her face wet from the fountain part. After about a week, she started drinking from the fountain and I see her over there several times a day. I really like that there's a filter so it cleans the water automatically.
