Lasts twice longer than the other cheaper ones here, I have used 4 diff manufactures so far...
Been living in an RV for 6 years with an average gen starts of 2-3 per day. This unit has been in for alm,ost two years, sounds like it's starting to weaken so I am buying another before leaving for 6 months off grid in Baja. You will need a 3/8 socket universal joint to get to one of the bolts, also a short reach star bit to fit in a tight space and remove the electrical box where the starter hot wire bolts into. This one works well and covers all the Star sizes you're likely to ever need:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LQEUJ0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Exactly as described.
Bendix on my 30 year old Onan got chewed up, and it came down to a $30 gear or a $40 starter, so I went for the starter. Clearly, this isn't OE, and there are some goofy "almost but not quite right" details, which is why I'm giving it four stars. It's close enough though, and it works right now. From reading around, I don't have high expectations about ultimate life span, but for the ten or fifteen times a year the generate is used I figure I'll get at least a few years from it, and that's a fair equation. It fits, it works, and it's about 25% of the cost of the actual OE part. It leaves me with only one question: Why is this dinky little starter STILL more expensive than the massive hunk of metal that starts my Ford Falcon?

Don't know how good the starter is
I'm not sure how good this starter is because I sent it back, it spun around but the drive didn't come out. So I thought the starter was defective because of having 13.7 volts at the terminal. But after digging into the problem farther I got a battery load tester to find out my 2 year old battery was weak. Replaced battery, solenoid, and another starter I fixed the problem. So if I had not been so inpatient and figured out what the problem was in the fist place this rareelectrical starter would be installed in my Onan generator

Works perfectly.
This starter saved my backside. It was time for out annual holiday trip down the coast and my generator decided not to start due to a bad starter. The price was right. The shipping was fast. I had it installed in 15 minutes and it worked perfectly. Well worth the money.
