We do not feed the bees but leave them enough honey and bee pollen to feed through the winter. Always looking for the best way to care for these little ones is a great challenge Our queens are kept in a separate chamber, so that when we collect the honey we do not hurt her or extract unborn larva that mixes in with the honey.

Uniquely Different
I have been longing to try honey from conifers versus flower blossoms, and decided to go for it.This is quite different (in my opinion, in a good way). The consistency is very thick and 'stringy,' and more like caramelized sugar than honey. The taste is something that I cannot quite put a finger on, yet deliciously different. It's also not as sweet at most honey that I have had. I never met a honey that I didn't have a hard time putting the spoon down, and this is no exception. Different is not necessarily bad, and what makes it so different is what makes it so intriguing.I am going to try other conifer honey varieties, such as Breitsamer Honig's Forest Honey. It's definitely not your basic honey variety, which is a good thing.

Not satisfied.
I got a jar full of crystals that I had to heat in order to use. I messaged the seller about it and got no reply. It's honey, but I'd rather buy it in liquid form.
