Bought three as Christmas gifts in September. We did not open and inspect the contents, so it's way past the return deadline. When opened at Christmas one of them had one handle broken off, a problem noted by other reviewers. Each handle is attached by two short wood screws that do not penetrate far enough into the wood to be secure. The fundamental flaw is that pressure on the handle, either up or down, acts as a lever to pry out the screws. I'm going to buy some Nambe as a replacement, but not this item. I don't know who's at fault. I suspect the seller is caught in the middle. If anyone in the supply chain, from Amazon on down, wants to contact me to make this right, I'll be happy to give them credit by amending this review. In the meantime, I don't have the time or energy to chase down who's at fault.

Totally love this nambe tray. It is beautiful and classy looking! I own lots of nambe items in this was one of the favorites. Unfortunately it was smaller than I thought it would be and I need to order a larger one!

Beautiful! Stands up to the Nambe name. My daughter-in-love absolutely loves it!

This is lovely my one complaint is that one handle feels a bit loose, but not enough that I need to contact Nambe. The Nambe company stands behind its products so any issues can be easily rectified with direct contact with the manufacturer which is why I trust this brand and have several of their pieces. Also, it was wrapped in only kraft paper within the Nambe box from the manufacturer so it was subject to being damaged. I will use this as a bread tray or for other dry type foods instead of other foods because I don't want to damage the wood.
