Some things you should know
I bought this right after I placed an order for my BMPCC 6k. It seemed like the only practical option without buying more accessories for my cage. The camera mounts right on top of the battery. Which means that you have to mount it on top of the battery and then mount the battery on your tripod. It adds a little bit more time to my set up and break down. Then there's the display which is great because it shows you how much charge it has left. I didn't realize that it's accurate until it's not. The display shows you how much battery is left which is going to be completely different as soon as you plug something in it. I did't realize that. So I went on a long form shoot thinking I had enough. The LP battery the BMPCC saved the day even if it only lasted 20 minutes. So I charge it now every time I come back from a shoot.

Disappointed
For the price, one would think it will last long. Sent it back 3 times because each one was faulty. When I finally got one that worked, it doesn't last more than 2 hours on my Pocket 6K. Yeah, very, very disappointing. I ended up having to rig a bigger V mount battery on the right handle bar of my tripod that gives me 6-8 hours on a shoot. I attached pictures to give you context of my review.

It’s just good, not great! But is perfect for this camera.
I expect for the price more hours of battery life but it’s perfect for smalls productions and run and gun situations. I recommend turning off the camera when it’s not in use. Also, update: I had some issues with the base plate that connects the battery with the button of the camera. When I move roughly the tripod (accidentally or intencional) it get loose easy and falls. That’s happens in several occasion and in one broke my polar pro filter. I think the problem is that the base plate dosent adjust hardly enough so have to create a hand made solution with a sit belt that push the battery towarts the camera
