This is a competition rub all the way. If your looking for a little cherry flavor in your ribs with a little heat, then this is it. My whole family loves it. Great rub.

It tastes good but has Red #40 and smoke flavor added. I could do without those.

I usually make my own rub, but this is fantastic. I've used it on both chicken and ribs and it's fantastic on both. The cherry flavor is present but not overwhelming. Perfectly balanced. Will buy again soon.

Purchased all 5 rubs. All received with short shelf lives, like November 2018 and today is April 24, 2018. Means all 5 flavors have been sitting in a warehouse for a long time. Most others at least have 2 yrs shelf life if relatively fresh. Spices loose lots of flavor sitting for so long before being sold to consumers. To bad as these were purchased as gifts.
