Easy to do, all the tools you need
First of all, you don't have to remove the entire glass upper section of a pixel 2xl to do this job. If you camera glass is broken, just get this kit. It'll take a bit of care to pick all the bits of glass out of the bezel. But the glass seemed to adhere just fine. Only problem is the instructions are really vague and generic. It took a little trial and error to get the correct adhesive side down.

Absolutely perfect—highly recommend
This was easy to install, came with everything we needed to replace the rear camera lens, and saved us about $165. I actually called the local phone repair shop about 5 miles from where we live, and they said it would be around $180 to replace the little lens. This kit allowed us to take care of it within about 10 minutes. So glad for the internet and vendors who sell these products!
