Corki Cycles Universal Standard Bike Brake Cable Housing Kit for Mountain Road Bike - Black

I’m rehabbing an old mountain bike in a blue and green scheme so I ordered this green brake cable/housing kit. This kit has everything you need for a full front and rear brake cable/housing installation. The quality seems very good, the price is very nice, and if you have the requisite skills and tools it is easy to install. I couldn’t be happier and I’m ready to roll.

At this price its hard to beat, this same set at a bike shop cost me almost two times as much, I ended up buying this set a=for my brake line cables and the red looks sweet and works as it should.

I got the red color brake cable. Works well on my 2012 Shimano sti levers. Colors are great. Time will tell about durability. Wish the red were more of a cherry apple rather than crayon red, but that's okay

What can one say, ... works as it should. Most importantly, the colors of the housing in reality are as they appear in the photographs. Good price and arrived quickly.

Be careful what you are ordering. Do not go by the main picture. You have to make a selection. I had ordered before and got 10 round ends. Reordered without looking closely and got 10 pear ends this time. Pear ends are for road bikes especially vintage road bikes. Round ends are for modern mountain bikes and most kids bikes. Glad to have pear ends on hand, I will use them eventually. Needed 10 round end cables though.

I'm not too familiar with bike brake cables in general (I'm actually using this for brakes on a very light aircraft), but I am pleased with the quality and functionality of this set. There are lots of extra parts to allow for different installations, and the inside of the cable housing is pre-lubricated, which I thought was a really nice feature.

Re cable my road bike Ultegra 6800 brake and shifters and this works great, I also bought some cable liner as I have internal routing, I highly recommend the liner also. Will definitely buy this again next time I need to replace all my cables.

Took a chance and purchased the brake cable and gear shift kits. The color was as expected. I ended up replacing it. There is a noticeable difference in diameter as compared to name brand cable kits

Nice color but cables are short .Would work for a kid's bike .Quality is correct
