This book is so delightful

The first thing I noticed were the illustrations. The colors were rich and some could be framed they were just that beautiful. The next thing I noticed was the story. It was told in a way that brought home that the girl was different, the children found her different, but didn’t bully her.I plan on buying this for my granddaughter who just turned four.

My niece loves this book. Her favorite. Perfect present for a 5 yr old

This is a well-illustrated book, with a cute storyline and a positive message! If you are a gardener or love nature, this is a great book to give to a little one.

She’s 4 1/2 and asks me to read this story every time she visits. She loves the story & the art work.I do intentionally omit the word “popular” when I read this to her. Wish the concept was not part of the story.

Disappointed.1. The girls name is a hard one for a kid to read but maybe that’s the point.2. Was really enjoying it until it brought up the Earths Vibrations… like why can’t she be caring and loving and weird without bringing in New Age Paganism??3. Also the concept and mention of popularity was disappointing. Ultimately the girl gets befriended by the “popular” girls because she throws a big party at her cool house.4. Why make it materialistic like that?Overall disappointed in such a beautiful illustrated book that had so much potential to inspire little girls to love the world around them more than being “popular”. Sad.

Bought this book for my 4 year old red-haired grand-niece. It’s an adorable story and beautifully illustrated.
