Mates Well with Worn Drive Side Frames
I have a '13 Kona Mahuna that is setup for on/off road use. It has a low center of gravity. This makes high speed elliptical turns fun :) but with low miles made it moderately wear out the drive side frame threads. I put a lot of high speed right turns on asphalt, and noticed my FSA 55 BB got loose. Found a disturbing amount of 6061 aluminum in there. Turns out that continued extreme camber of the bike while standing on the drive side pedal for balance did combine to rub the grooves down. This cup fits pretty well on it and tightened up the BB play. I'm pleased with this fit. I am hoping the Japanese built bearings will wear less over time with its aluminum makeup Vs. the steel/chrome plated FSA. I'll put some miles on it and more strips on the ground then update this review as to how it holds up.

So far so good.
This was shipped promptly and arrived as described. Installed easily. No plastic parts that I could see. Too cold right now for anything more than a test ride, but so far so good. If I have any issues in the future, I will update this review.

High Quality at a Low Price
A well made, great looking bottom bracket - and a great value, too.
