Won't do what it is intended to do
A nicely made and attractive box. Heavy -- just what I wanted. Fatal design flaw: you would have to take it apart in order to actually put a box of facial tissue inside -- that's the only reason I would buy one! The lid is hinged -- so although the box will fit inside, the lid won't close. It would have to be removable. It's not.

did not fit 5" Kleenex box - hinged top so not sure how this thing is supposed to work? also, the decorative tabs on the sides fell off when I picked it up. not a great glue job on this thing

Good Quality and Price
Works great for top up tissues but you have to take the tissues out of the box they come in or it won't fit in the wooden box. 3 and 1/2 inches opened - 12 and 1/2 inches closed

Extremely tarnished.
The wooden box itself was good, but all of the metal paneling was completely tarnished and the box it came in was too small for the item as it was open/broken down the corner.

Small but well made tissue box
Don't understand the bad reviews. This product is hand made. The artisan used very fine nails to add the brass decorations. I plan to use gorilla glue if they ever become loose. This is a small box, meaning that you'll have to half the tissue box and place them into the box manually. But it IS worth it! This box should last you many, many years. I'm happy with my purchase and totally recommend it.
