Barrettine Premier Wood Preserver 1L - Light Brown

Goes on well. Absorbs beautifully. Great finish.
Great stuff. I would never varnish or totally seal any outside furniture. By its very nature, wood needs to BREATH. If you do seal it, water will get in! And stay in longer causing rot/ mould and fungi. This is a lovely thin product that soaks in well, It obviously contains resins so it does dry and firms exposed grain. (stops lifting). I do hope and believe the anti-fungal properties will last.I applied with a brush. Two coats. Then two coats of Danish Oil using a cloth, lightly sanding between each coat. The 12 year old table was grey, bleached by the sun and looking nasty! Sanded back to bare wood. Stained with antique pine wood dye to darken. Then as above. The bench seat is brand new, treated exactly the same without the dye. Hope this is useful.D.

Look like it forms impervious protection
I applied 2 coats ,by brush ,to my wooden garden furniture and it now looks brilliant and should be pretected and preserved for another few years.Water just forms droplets on the surface.Really pleased with the results

Natural light brown, easy to use. Soaks deep into the wood.
I mainly liked the colour it was a very natural light brown. I used it on part of a fence that was already treated. The untreated wood that I painted blended well and the natural beauty of the wood still came through. I was worried it would be red like some you buy from superstores. It wasn’t reddy and I was very pleased with the product. Dried quickly too.

I would call this dark brown.
Like the stuff, does not smell back but could do with a range of lighter shades of brown.
