This thing is awesome. Tons of room, cell phone charging, converts to back pack in seconds. Also includes shoulder strap with industrial strength loops. Fits up to 17" laptop in a super padded slip in section.

So, I might be a brand fanboy just a little, but this bag is BRILLIANT. My Omen 17" is snug and safe, all of my accessories are too, and everything I need for work firs in the top compartment. Plenty of padding, all the pockets I can stand, and the bag looks great.

The compartment for the laptop does hold a 17.3" 2018 HP Omen x 17, but not the actual sleeve inside for a laptop, so it can slide up and down inside the compartment instead of being held by the velcro strap.

I had been looking for a briefcase for my 17" laptop that I would have had to carry on a plane to put below the seat of the passenger in front of me. Instead, this duffle bag packs my laptop into the bottom of the bag and leaves all the upper space for my clothes and supplies and STILL fits into the overhead baggage compartment on the plane. This bag also has BUILT-IN backpack straps which make it so convenient for traveling/carrying the bag through long airport distances. Strap it on you back and never have to worry about losing it or having it stolen while in the airport! (Or you can use the regular shoulder strap that comes with the bag) While on your back, you just forget about it! The laptop slot on the bag is on the top of the bag so the laptop doesn't fall out in case you forget to zip the compartment completely. And the overall shape of the duffle bag is "squared-off" instead of coming to a point at the top which allows for more carrying capacity. And the fabic is very heavy and water resistant and should last for years and years. Lots of planning went into making this bag and I'm so glad I found it on the Web.

Definitely good looking, but I wish it had a little more padding as the laptop storage is on the bottom of the bag.

This bag is super versatile. Didn’t realize it when I bought it, but there’s actually straps included to turn it “backpack style” as well as a shoulder sling for the duffel. Feels really well made, complaints about their “laptops not having enough padding in the bag” seem baseless after getting my hands on it. Plenty of padding. Anyone wishing to “lightly toss” a bag with a laptop inside of it shouldn’t have a laptop in the first place(:
