Sturdy, Easy to assemble, No problems
Very good construction. Carpet spikes worked really well, and the stands are very sturdy. Highly recommend this product to anyone.

These are good for 6" monitors and smaller
These stands are pretty sturdy. Really easy to put together even though they came with no instructions. They are easily adjustable and easily turn for getting that sweet spot locked on right where you want itI recommend that you put the carpet spikes on using a wrench because they catch the holes easier. The plates for the monitors are a little small, and if you have speakers that are bigger than 6" you will have some issues. I have KRK rokit 6's and they are right on the threshold of what these speaker stands can handle. Also make sure you add some weight to the base of the stands. A 5lb barbell weight should do.Other than that these are some good stands for your home studio and you should be happy with them.

Samson MS200 Heavy Duty Studio Monitor Stands.
I love these stands! Samson is a very reputable brand and they work great with my HS8 and HS5 Studio monitors! Must-have for any music studio!

Flimsy and light
Too light for the KRK monitors I got - maybe good enough for tiny home-theater speakers. DO NOT buy these for anything over 10 lbs. They wobble and sway. YIKES.

Great product
Great product. Arrived ontime. No instructions but easy to figure out. Don't be afraid to screw the top plate down real good - should not wiggle. The black washer goes to the butterfly screw. Assemble washer to butterfly screw before you screw into base. Only enough rubber sticky pads for one top plate. Emailed the seller to send more and never heard back. Found round rubber sticky pads at truvalue for $3.00 so not a big deal. Sticky pads I had to buy come only in beige, not black but who cares because you can't see them anyways. I'm just excited I have very sturdy stands that are adjustable. My floor is slanted slightly and you can adjust stand to compensate. I'm only subtracting stars because I never heard back from seller re: missing sticky pads.

Not heavy duty and too small of a platform
The stand is far too flimsy for KRK Rokit 5's and nothing about it is "heavy duty". The platform is roughly 2/3rd the size of the speaker and the screw that comes for it is also relatively small making it seem unsafe. Probably the most annoying thing though is the pole to the base is secured with a butterfly screw which doesn't allow the base to sit flat on the ground. This is a problem when you have wood floors and don't want to use the carpet pins.
