A: I mistakenly ordered the MINI size rack. I have a full size F-150. So I contacted the seller directly and they were kind enough to swap out for the full size model. They are made supposedly flat and level camper shells, however I have a wedge style shell and was able to make it work. I would recommend that you swap out some of the hardware from local suppliers. I twisted 2 bolts off, cheap metal. I also used longer bolts with Lock washers, nuts and then nylock nuts. I was just concerned about vibration and the hardware loosening. Each shell manufacturer has different type material and angles and this is a universal ladder rack so have be imaginative.

Good buy.
Good racks, strong mount, reasonable price, prompt delivery, no extra tracks needed.Might want to hold them up off the camper roof a little more than the 1 1/2 " recommended in the instructions, but not so much as to torque the bolts.

Nice assembly
I Purchase this item from a supplier that would ship to Hawaii. Nobody through Amazon would accommodate me in that regard. The rack is all thick walled extruded aluminum and highly polished. Instructions were adequate but a little sparse but no problem. Because I live in Hawai'i and everything rusts very quickly, I replace all zinc plated nuts, bolts, and split washers that came with this item with $38.00 worth of stainless hardware. To me and because of the environment I live in, the up-grade was worth it. It should last a long time "if" used as intended. It is rated at 300# and I'm sure it may carry that amount as described if you drive normally on very smooth roads. A heavy load with an aggressive driving habit I'm sure would stress the camper shell it's self. Same for driving on a lot of rough roads. When I need to haul any dimensional lumber I think I will load a little heavy to each side of the rack and lightly in the middle. May take a few more tie-downs but I'm sure it will distribute the load so flexing of the camper shell might be less. All in all, if I were to sell the camper shell for some reason, I would buy this rack again.
