His final charge to his readers
I was wrestling with the question "why does life HAVE TO BE so hard?" when Bob Schultz' posthumous book hit my desk. When a very good man writes about spiritual battles, you have to listen. This book shares candidly his own struggles with failings... shortness with his children, ungratefulness toward his wife, resentment toward his neighbor... and what God was teaching him through those daily battles.Mr. Schultz didn't get to wrap up this book's reflections for publication. There's a poignant "unfinished" sense to the battles he fought, no neat sense of closure from his final chapter. And I think that's fitting for the topic. What a legacy.

Awesome devotionals!!
This book is one of the best daily devotionals I have ever read. I rank it along side "My Utmost For His Highest". As a single mother trying to raise a godly man, I can't praise this book enough! Mr. Schultz writes in such an honest & sincere manner that it has grasped the attention of my 13 year old son, which is no easy task. I read the devotionals myself before starting them with my son and they have renewed my faith as well! I highly recommend this book!!!

A small investment for a great return!
What a blessing this book is! Actually all the books written by author should be a must read. As a family we deceided to read these with our teenaged son. The experience brought us closer together as a family, got insight on were our son's thoughts and heart needed alignment and where they needed praise for being spoton to were God's desire for him to be. What tresured memories we shared.... Together! Proverbs 22:6! I encourage everyone to buy this book, then buy another for friends or family. A small investment for a great return!

Amazing Book!
This is more than just one more dissertation on the Christian Life. In stunningly simple terms it clarifies what it means to walk by faith and exactly how to do it. Though written for boys, this book is by far the most satisfying read I've had in a long, long time. And I'm a very feminine girl. The chapters are short, to the point, and absorbing. Easy read. This book has rocked my world. This is the best money you'll ever spend on a book; worth every penny!

Best books ever!
We have all of Bob Schultz' books and we love them! I read them outloud to the kids on a daily basis in our homeschool. I have 4 boys and I want them to know the standards! I have my daughter listen too, so she knows what type of husband to choose!

Published after Bob died
Not written so specifically for boys, but great teaching for any age and sex.
