41" Blue Zelda Foam Sword Hero Link Hylian Fantasy Katana LARP Cosplay Roleplay

This thing looks fantastic. My son is having a Zelda themed birthday next week and this will be a fantastic addition. The quality, durability, and color all look great. It was crafted well for what it is.

This foam sword is huge, firm, and high quality.

Great Quality! We bought this for our 5 year old for his birthday and quickly realized that it was so well made we could have got it for any of our older boys as well (ages 10 and 12) and they would have been excited about it. It is almost too heavy duty for our 5 year old, I would not recommend giving it to anyone younger or they might have a hard time lifting and playing with it. We were not expecting it to be that big and nice! Most "foam swords" we would be expecting to throw away with in a year... this one could potentially last forever! I think this is the perfect sword for older boys to fight with. It feels like they are actually really fighting but without the risk of serious of injury. Don't get me wrong if someone hits really hard with this on your face it will sting!

This is a hard one to review. I purchased the first one and my son was not happy. The handle is supposed to be Purple, on the one I ordered anyway. If you click on the different sellers some will show the purple one, while others show a blue one. The picture that shows up as I write this review however, is the blue one. I think different sellers all sell under the same listing. I then ordered another one to replace it, from this same listing but from a different seller that showed it to be purple; however it also arrived with the blue handle. Now the funny thing is that the two I ordered (from the same listing, different sellers) were slightly different. One was much better quality than the other. I would suggest that if you don't mind the blue, at least go for the better quality one, because the better one is much sturdier.In the pictures, the sword with the larger handle and longer blade is the better quality one. The one that shows in the package as well as the close-up of the blade is the lesser quality one. That one was almost wobbly when you swung it around, like it might snap if you moved it around to hard or fast (This is a very long sword so it should be pretty stable). The foam was also harder making it less pliable, almost like it would crack if you hit something. The better one has a little bit softer foam but the core is much stiffer making it more stable to hit things with. The blade on the nicer one looks better too.Besides the sword being the wrong color (for those who might not know the Master sword is actually purple not bright blue as my son informed me) and if you can get the nicer quality one(free Prime returns), it is really an amazing sword. It survived sword fighting at a campground at the Mississippi river. Some of the paint wore off and the very tip (less than 1/4 in) did break off but other than that it has held up to some abuse better than I thought it would. The nicer one came from knives unlimited but that might not always be the case, as it might be random.

10/10! Or, for skeptical people of this item, 9.5/10! (Near perfect as a gift or collectable!)Seriously, THIS is a super awesome item that arrived before the date and was very well secured in its packaging! Seriously though, for being a foam sword version of the Master Sword from the Legend of Zelda, this certain item is fantastic in condition, creation and looks; alongside the other replica and foam weapons/merchandise I have, this stands out more than well! For me, I have been a fan of Legend of Zelda since ten years old and THIS is a more than wonderful piece to have in my collection!The condition of this foam item is near perfect. Of course, as it is a said foam item and is mass produced, the painting on it is slightly blotched here or there and you can't hack things to pieces with it. It's not a LARP weapon. But from a distance, literally, you won't notice the paint job while holding it or posing. Or putting it alongside your collection, like I have. The design and etchings in the foam are pretty accurate to the real thing. although I would have liked the handle lines to be painted purple too rather than all blue.

My son was thrilled to get this Master Sword! He loves the Zelda series and I thought it would be a great gift. He wanted this to foam sword fight with his cousin but I'm not sure I want him swinging this at a person. I think the master sword is harder than a traditional foam sword and would really hurt if it hit someone.

Bought for my big boys and they love it! It is not for little kids because it is life like size, quite big and is not light but solid. I’d recommend for teenagers and older.

I would not technically classify this as a toy. While being made of foam, the material and craftsmanship make it more of a cosplay (costume) accessory than a child's play thing. It's a really hard foam that would not feel great to be smacked by. Also, they blade and the handle seem to be technically two separate pieces, so swinging it too hard could break it.So it is great for an older child who wants to pose with it or wont be too rough (of course for this price, does it really matter? Super glue and duct tape and it's good as new). Or maybe you're the adult child who's going to pull on your tights and run around a con in your green tunic and pointy ears, I would say that this would definitely be allowed on the floor.

Se tiene que tratar con cuidado porque es frágil. No la recomiendo para niños, es muy grande y se ve que no dura tanto, es para usarse un par de veces.
