Soultone CymbalsEXT-CRS18-18" Soultone Cymbals Extreme Crash

This crash is excellent. The first Soultone 18" crash I received was damaged during ground shipping. But Amazon helped me to get a replacement, and it has been working great since.The sound is quite explosive, with dark overtones. It also decays quite fast with a slight growl in the decay. It works well as a crash ride cymbal as well due to the 18" size and the natural finished and raw finished playing surfaces. And the raw bell makes it a great crash ride as well.I can easily blend this cymbal with my Sabian Artisan Raw Bell crashes as they have similar in sound signature, (Though the Artisans are a bit trashier in the decay)I have heard on the net that Soultone and most other Turkish-made cymbals has some durability issues, and cymbals are cracking mentioned by drummers on various forums.For my playing, (mostly softer styles) I do not see the cracking of the cymbal to be an issue.So for people who play metal or thrash, maybe reconsider for other options.

Purchased for my son and he says it has a great sound. He wants another crash for Christmas.
