This is the best thread tape I've ever used. This version is for aluminum and stainless steel however, I use the other Gasoila thread tape as well and it is all exceptional quality. I also use the Gasoila pipe thread compounds.

it is a mixed color or white PTFE and grey lines or dirt like stuff. I think based on title and some research the grey is nickel metal dust. Also, it lists a maximum pressure of 300 psi which seems like a strange specification. Seems like you should avoid unless you need non-gas tight fitting (anti-gall). I am tossing it in trash.

I used this for a 08’ 335i N54 oil filter housing delete plate with AN10 fittings and works great oil temps are around 160 to 200 and on hot days 230 degrees no leakage good product get good reviews

I bought this just to help prevent galling of stainless steel threaded pipe joints. It did seal all the threaded joints with complete success,so I know it can do that. It also appears to be thicker than the standard tape, so it might also help if you have joints with a sloppy fit. But I cant say with any amount of certainty that standard PTFE tape wouldn't have the exact same results for allot less cost.

This thread tape is perfect, if you get hose peskie engine warning lights and can’t figure it out and you have a older model vehicle just apply this tape to the threads of your gas cap. That’s right, clean the cap then apply this tape and roll on. Enjoy, I tried regular thread tape but it won’t wear but this can take it when backed up by its stainless .5” tape. Drive on........

I used a number of rolls of this material for a stainless steel pipe job. The tape was very tough and lubricated very well. Never had a to worry about a seize-up. No leaks when I was done. All and all, worth the extra money compared to regular thread tape if doing stainless steel.

This isn’t that paper thin stuff you get cheap, it’s thicker and very easy to work with

Worked good for a high temp oil seal I had to use thread tape on. Seems like normal thread tape but much better.
