This new earbud was designed as an ergonomic replacement to the ordinary earbuds that come with most Bluetooth headsets. After trying out countless headsets and having experienced the same annoying discomfort, we were inspired to come up with our own earbud design. This earbud is uniquely formed into a conical-like shape that fits comfortably inside of the ear canal. It is made from a supple, gel-like material and is designed to fit a wide variety of ears. It will make using your headset so comfortable - you will forget you are wearing one! The unique tapered shape also enhances sound and noise isolation; thereby improving the audibility of the sound and helping to keep external noises out. It's great for those with difficulty in hearing the sound from their headsets and excellent for use in noisy environments. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY
I like other reviewers bought this because of the many good reviews. I now have no idea how it received those reviews.First of all I only got one. Unless I need another Anatomy class, I thought the average person had 2 ears. Why the heck would a company package a product that a user would clearly need two items for use with just one? Just put 2 in there and double the price if its a money thing. That makes no sense and because I have never experienced a buying experience for a headphone accessory where each ear was sold separately, I assumed that this would come in a pair. Well I guess that was a lesson learned.Second, this thing is useless. If the one I received fit well and seemed like it would work, I would have sucked it up and attributed my receiving one bud as my own stupid assumptions of ear bud package etiquette and bought the matching piece. No such luck. The buds (yes one was attached to each side. amazing right?) that came with my bluetooth head phones fit a lot better. Due to only having one UMBO EARBUD. I was able to try the Umbo and one of my original buds in my ear at the same time for a comparison. BIG DIFFERENCE. The Umbo actually made the head set loose on my head which is bad for me because I am using my headphones for running. Also, after doing some exercises to see how it felt as I moved, the Umbo actually popped out of my ear very quickly. VERY DISAPPOINTING.This thing is a joke if you ask me. I used a credit from an Amazon trade in to purchase this so Im not really out of any money. Im more annoyed than angry but I definitely wanted to write this review so that others wouldn't make the same mistake that I did of buying this ONE piece of crap.

Surprisingly Good
I have always had a problem with bluetooth headsets being incredibly uncomfortable. I have to be available for telephone calls, and that means a bluetooth while driving or being otherwise active. And they all hurt. The best I could hope for was "tolerable," and that only for about an hour, 1 1/2 hours maximum. Perhaps I have deviant ear canals. Experimented with every size and shape - they all ranged from minimally awful to downright terrible. After my Motorola Command One disappeared from the bureau top, and we found the ear gel separated and chewed up- our new kittens denied any knowledge (they were both somewhere else at the time, you understand) - went back to a Plantronics Voyager, which was the second-least painful. Eventually found the Motorola (in the back of the hall closet) and used it with no ear gel at all.Bought the Umbro on spec, and was pleasantly surprised that it fit both me and the Motorola well. Wouldn't say you can forget it's there (although I did once), but it is far more comfortable than anything else I have tried. A bonus is that it does seem to focus the sound better, so I have turned down the bluetooth volume, which in turn enhances clarity from over-amplification. I use the ear hook, so I can't say whether it holds the bluetooth in without it. It isn't really sound-isolating, but it does deliver the sound more efficiently to your ear.Was undecided whether to give it 4 or 5 stars. Went with 5 in relation to other products. It's inexpensive, comfortable, and works well. In addition, the delivery time was at the far short end of the prediction. Frankly did not expect much, so was extremely pleased with this product.

Best Ever Earbuds for small actually tiny) ears.
This is the ONLY earbud I have used for many years. I am glad I bought several, but am down to 2 now and they are not available now and not sure if they ever will be again. That is very disappointing. I have been using them with a Jawbone Icon and truly LOVE them. I have very tiny ears, and these are the only earbuds that work comfortably.I just bought a new Jawbone ICON HD to replace my current Jawbone ICON because the charging area on top broke and I can no longer charge it.I am trying the accompanied earbuds with my new ICON HD so will have to see how it goes. I certainly hope these will again become available.I don't know what I would do if the new earbuds do not work our well.

Clever Idea
So my friend gave me a Jabra Blue Tooth a few years ago, and the original earbud cover finally gave up. I was thrilled (yes, thrilled) to find this cool concept replacement. The product description states that it improves the audio quality of your phone calls. It does. Most def. It also claims that it will make your Blue Tooth sit more comfortably in your ear so it won't fly out when you turn your head. Well, not so much. However, in fairness to this little Umbo, the poor fit has much more to do with the earbud to ear hook ratio (it's too long) and the size of the earbud (it's too big) than the earbud cover itself. It takes a little coaxing to get the cover on (this is a good thing), but once fait accompli, it's on. It's much easier to clean and maintain than those awful spongy polyurithane earbud covers, too. When you think about it, $6 is kind of a lot for a teeny little piece of molded rubber. But it's waaaay better than spending lots more for a new Blue Tooth just because the earbud cover is gone. The Umbo has extended the life of the Jabra, hence reducing e-waste. So yaaaay Umbo.

Go ahead and buy two
These buds are very comfortable for my ear, they channel the sound very well, and they attach firmly to a few different Samsung bluetooths that we own. That said, rubber earbuds (in general) are definitely the weak link in the bluetooth earpiece system. The plastice over-the-ear hooks are the next worse offender. I keep spares of those as well. The buds tend to get rubbed off of the earpiece if I keep it in my pocket (where else you gonna put it?). So I have started super gluing them in place. Because these buds are soft (and therefore comfortable) they do eventually wear through. No problem, I can peel off the remaining bits of rubber in spite of the glue and then glue a new bud in its place. I find this periodic maintainance worth while to have a comfortable and well seated earbud.
