More art than math, but interesting
This is a good resource for teaching kids about different artists and styles. Each section talked about an artist, and showed projects similar to the artist's work that were done by children. I was hoping for a bit more math, honestly. I'm looking for STEAM teaching resources, and while this is interesting, it's really not what I was hoping it was (using math to make art, rather than looking for math in art).

This book was too difficult for a boy of the age of 7 years old.
I made a mistake, when I purchased this book, it was my disappointment, it was a bit too hard for him to understand & play. So that is why I sent the book back to the seller.

Great supplemental for history, art and math
SO so many great ideas to do with kids. My two home schoolers are 5 and 7 and I modify some of it to their ages, but this is a great little book. So far we have does about 5 of the artists. I love that it provides the history about the artist, and then I use the computer to pull up and show a few of the works (since they are very small in the book) and then we follow up by creating our own. Favorite so far, Georges Seurat (we made up a little song, "Georges Seurat created with the dot" while the kids did their artwork they would sing that. Nice binding, just wish it was a tiny bit bigger size wise.
