They are beautiful. We bought these as a gift, so I can't speak to how durable they are or if you can actually light them. But they look really nice anyway

One had no hole so no way to use the wick that I got for it. The other had white spots on it but was usable. The 3rd one had 90% of the wick hole covered but after much effort I was able to get the wick in. They were gifts for Shavuot so I no longer have them. They arrived late so I wouldn't have had time to return and receive new.

These were a little smaller than I thought and I didn't see any instructions . I went online to research. Found you can use any vegetable oil. Supposed to fill 2/3 full but there's no way to see how much is in it. Also if you spill over any the pottery will immediately absorb it. Also, you must trim the wick when flame gets too big.Overall it served the purpose for my Sunday school lesson of the 10 virgins.

The lamp seems to be okay. It arrived in a timely manner. You do need to know that these unglazed lamps will absorb oil and be oily to the touch. They aren't going to burst into flames but you may wish to set them in a dish because they can crack.

after awhile the oil leaked through. worked as a prop for our play - only wouldn't light it because the oil got all over everything.

I lit my first one off these today. I had it burning a couple of hours, then I came to take some pictures and there was oil all over where it was resting. I thought I had just over filled it or at worse there was a crack. I then lit another and was sure no oil was close to the burn hole so it wasn't overfilled. Well, it did the same thing. The design of the burn hole allows the wick to wick the oil up and out of the vessel to make a fine mess of things. It should be fluted. Otherwise, it was very nice, clean burning, and steady. I tried a different wick type with the same result.
