Nice buy
Bright light. For when you need to see during zero light situations. I have several pocket sized headlamps that don’t come close to this.Other models similar to this item were more expensive or had short battery life. I took this in a few caves it was my main lamp except when I saw other approaching I switched to my secondary smaller headlamp to be courteous. This lamp shines a clear beam about 50-100 yards of zero light situations (caves, canyons, remote Forrest’s in my experience) depending on air quality.Prior to purchase I read a review stating a 12 hour life. I have not been tested eager to test this but it has lasted 2-3 hours at a time.Pros: provides enough light to view your surroundings in dark situations reliably up to 50yds, I would expect 100 yds in ideal conditions.Good battery life on full charge.Price. Weather resistant I got mine splashed generously a couple time.High & Low mode.Cons- charger cable skinny, hollow, round.. my own fault but I misplaced mine.Beam is not adjustable.Would recommend

1-2 hours Every Night for 365 Nights...IT ALWAYS WORKS PERFECTLY!
I have spent a sickening amount of money on "SUPER BRIGHT! 17 MILLION LUMEN! MOST RELIABLE HEADLAMP ON EARTH!" products from CREE and every other brand claiming to be the best. The circuitry has failed on EVERY ONE OF THEM, some on the first use. Seven weeks was the longest I've ever had one last without something shorting or frying or disconnecting from he contact points. I bought the Odear Lie Wang Headlamp Rechargeable LED Flashlight November 1, 2017. I tend bar at night so it's 3am by the time I get back to the farm and can run my dogs. With wolves, coyotes, and bears in the area, I need a bright reliable light that won't fail me. This ODEAR is like I have a LIGHTHOUSE strapped to my head! [a LIGHT-WEIGHT lighthouse that doesn't strain my neck!] Solid "BATMAN SIGNAL" super bright single beam that pierces the night like a helicopter spotlight. The peripheral light spills out about 80 yards wide and 300 yards deep. I look toward the bottom of the treeline, at least 500 yards away, and I can see the eyes of every predator and critter that's out there checking us out. The forehead mounted built-in rechargeable pack is super durable. I use this every night for at least an hour, and 10-12 days will go by before I even notice any need for a recharge. After more than a year of nightly use, my ODEAR has worked flawlessly. I'd be interested in hearing if other people who have purchased this product have had the positive experience with it that I have. I rarely take the time to write product reviews, but I paid $25 for this expecting the usual short-lived usefulness before circuity failure, and this thing has been PHENOMENAL, and it's still going STRONG after more than a YEAR! Outstanding!UPDATE: SIX YEARS NIGHTLY USE...STILL GOING STRONG AS EVER! COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED BY THIS PRODUCT.

Very bright light
Battery last a long time especially for a rechargeable. I use it set set duck decoys and blood trail deer. Very satisfied.

Nice bright light but to bulky
I like the bright light. It is not so comfortable or balanced on the forehead. It’s more of a hand held device, than a headlamp. Maybe over a ball cap but it may shine to high. Idk, I’ll try it though to save face on purchasing it.

Long Range Illumination, focussed beam penetrates smoke and dust/airborne particles like no other LED I've seen.
Living out in the country where there's no street lighting and plenty of bumps in the night that make me go out to check on my horses/stock, I've accumulated a pretty good portfolio of quality LED lights. LED lighting is a boon, providing plenty of illumination with very little current, so it's possible to have very bright lights in a very small package. However, I've found a downside to LED lights is they reflect back from any airborne particles--dust, smoke, moisture, rain, snow--much more than their incandescent predecessors (and in fact, halogen fog lights remain the best choice for the vehicles). Now to this Odear light: for some reason this Odear light, with its single LED light source but nicely contoured reflector producing a tightly focused beam, punches through with a minimum of glare. I've got another light with five of the very same LEDs as the single LED in this Odear, and a side by side comparison is amazing: the multiple LED light does put out more light overall, but much of it is dispersed and there's a good amount of glare (off the wildfire smoke that presently occupies the air). The Odear light isn't dispersed, and it punches right through. I'd in our present conditions conditions where there's very thick smoke from a nearby wildfire, the Odear is able to illuminate clearly up to 200 yards, while the other light can't penetrate past 100 yards. I'll also add, reducing reflected glare has obvious advantages for reducing the amount that using a light at night reduces your night vision. The downside to this Odear light is the weight, but it is easy to live with it for the functionality it provides.
