not much difference in brightness, but does improve clarity
I had a generic pair of bulbs and was not content with the brightness and clarity.reading up on bulbs I read that some generic bulbs use different gas and / or filament and especially BMW has a different standard.These bulbs do seem brighter, but not by much. but the clarity is definitely better I'm not 100% sure I will keep these for long since for my application (driving at night on highways with very poor illumination) I depend on having a strong beam that will not flash incoming traffic.

Nicht mal ein Jahr und durchgebrannt
Helligkeit ist gut. Erste Glühbirne ist aber bereits nach genau einem Jahr defekt. Dafür braucht man kein Osram kaufen.
