Extra Dog Collar for Wireless Dog Fence Containment System

Initially I was happy to find a pet containment system at such a low price. Unfortunately this did not work for me.The transmitter works properly but the collar (more like webbing with a clasp) is designed poorly:1) The thread of the prongs are pushed through the collar and held on by small plastic nut like pieces which are followed by the prong. When tightened this pulls the plastic pieces toward the neck of the dog putting stress on them causing them to crack easily.2) The prongs loosen easily causing the collar to fall of completely. I have discovered that if you forget to tighten these DAILY your dog may use the collar as an expensive chew toy.3) The static device has a button that turns it off and on (after holding it down for a few seconds) and it cycles through five settings when pressed once. Setting one is an audio alert only and 2 – 5 is a mild to heavy correction. As the dog moves the button is pressed. This cycles the collar through the options. If you have a dog that likes to test the boundaries he will get out.4) The collar battery life does not last as long as I wished it would. This is not a big issue because it uses 9v instead of a special battery as some companies use. If you are going to purchase this system buy a value pack of 9v’s.If this system could be used with another collar then I would use it. Especially considering that, to my surprise, it took a full day to set-up and the wire is now frozen in the ground.

The collar and/or transmitter box is defective and the system will not work properly. I have called the company several times (suppose to have a 24/7 customer support system) and have not been able to get anyone to answer or call me back. I tried to request a replacement of just the two collars and the transmitter box, but the system only lets me put in for a refund. Hope to hear back from company to get this system up and running for our two dogs asap.

I went through multiple collars before we got two that worked. The company handled the issue very well, so it's not an issue of customer service. The issue is with the product itself. Once I got two working collars, they ended up going wonky too. I've had them shock our dogs when they weren't anywhere close to the line, and that is NOT good at all. I'm specifically training these dogs to not leave a certain area and one shock away from the fence line is one shock too many.

Been using this product for the last month and is working wonderfully. I works a whole lot better the last wireless dog fence I tried. I choose to try this one since it is waterproof, one the dogs we have likes to swim and he fired the last collar within days. I purchased the kit and additional collar for a second dog. The only downside I found was that the receiver boxes pulled though the collar within two days after placing them on the dogs. One of the collars was found in the yard but the other was never found. Before putting it back on the dog, I placed a piece of Plexiglas plastic I had between the pins and the control box and the collar has stayed in place since. Had it not been for the losing the one collar, I would have gave this product five stars.

The system is great works fine not bad for the price ,but the company need to improve and better quality of the dog collar is so cheesy, little plastic washers between collar and pones break often and box falls off and that is the end of it, Good bye dog !Enhance the collar by having the collar run behind the battery that way it's not depending on 2 plastic washer and it will be super greatLove the system except for the collars..

Doesnt seem waterproof for extended time under water, but the company is sending me new ones free of charge since my other one got water in it. Very satisfied with the price of the system and function of it.

One of the plastic washers was cracked and broke immediately before use. The battery shipped was completely dead, but it's one of the older mercury "heavy duty" batteries and not an alkaline, so I'm not sure why they even bother to ship with it because that battery wouldn't last 24 hours if it were brand new. Otherwise the collar works, so it's not bad.

The collars worked when they wanted to. They were extremely positional. The shock delivered (when it decided to deliver it) was a deterrent but it was not consistent. This doesn't make for a good training tool as consistency is key. I was not please with the product.
