Being slightly obsessed with drinking hot tea, I had to get this. Read so many reviews and decided on this one based on price and size. It's easy to use, easy to fill with water, and easy to clean. I can have boiling water in like 3 minutes or less compared to waiting 10 minutes for water to boil in a pot on the stove! It's SO fast. Just flip the switch. It turns off automatically when done. I also like the blue lights in the bottom, just for aesthetics.I can have my flavored teas at home now more often, in place of trips to the local tea room (which I'll still do sometimes as a treat, but, you know, 💸). Can also use it to quickly make boiling water for anything else that needs it. Wish I'd gotten one a lot sooner!

I chose this Ovente product for its quality, simplicity of line and because the water boils in a fully glass kettle only. There are no hard to clean tubes, inaccessible parts and especially no toxic plastic elements inside of the kettle or that come in contact with the boiling water. The base is very stable and the simplicity of an on/off , non-digital switch was particularly appealing. The kettle heats water up very quickly and reaches full boiling rapidly. Cleaning the kettle is very easy as it has a wide top opening that allows for complete access to all sides and every inch of the glass. I have purchased two of this model and find them to be excellent quality and a wonderful value. And should you need, this vendor's Customer Care Service has been extremely helpful, responsive, trustworthy and professional. I fully recommend this Ovente Electric Kettle as provided by this vendor.

Love the elegant clean look and design would definitely recommend, will look great on any service very easy to use love the fact that you don't have to lift the lid to put the water in I love that you can wrap the cord around the base good performance only used it once it came to a boil really quick which I love oh and I love the blue soft light inside so you can see at night

I love the speed of getting hot water to make tea, for use in recipes… just anything that needs boiling water!I like the blue light while heating and the auto click off.Nothing I don’t like!

This is my forth similar tea kettle from Amazon and is the first one that didn’t suffer the demise of the first three. The problem with the others happens to be what this kettle doesn’t feature; the top hinge and handle on/off switch. The absence of a top hinge relieves the stress which eventually leads to the glass cracking. The on/off switch is directly mounted to the heat plate and is more simple, reliable, and durable than the others’ thumb operated toggle switch at the top of the handle. All pots are able to fit a man hand for washing; a requirement. I boil four or five full pots in this tea kettle daily. So far, this has lasted double the time/use of my other three tea kettles from Amazon. Besides being more durable and practical, it’s more attractive too.

I have been using Ovente glass kettles for a lot of years. My last one stopped working and was still under warranty and they are sending me a replacement. However, I need my pot NOW! I ruined my regular stove top kettle because I forgot I had turned it on. It ruined the kettle and melted the handle. Knowing that it will take at least a week for my replacement to arrive, I bought this one because I knew I would get it quickly.It arrived today. Was packaged very nicely. I opened the box and removed the kettle. It's not as "cute" as my other one - it has very straight lines but it does have all the features advertised. After reading all the instructions, I decided to try it out. I love how the water goes in! No lid to lift - just aim the water at the indent on the top of the kettle and the water flows down into the pot. Very clever!!I filled the kettle to the Max line, turned it on and timed it. Took 6 minutes and 45 seconds to boil the water. That water was HOT! Much hotter than my other Ovente Kettle. The lid has a very snug fit which is probably why the water is so hot. So easy to fill! I also noticed that it keeps the water left in the kettle hot for quite a long time.You just cannot beat this kettle, especially for that price! I love it!
