Handy Trends DIY Instant Perfect Window & Door Alarms - Set of 4

The window alarms are great, but we can't use the door alarm. Believe it or not the molding around the door prevents the alarm from going off. You'd think they would have taken that simple issue into account.

Seems to be cheaply made. Each alarm sounds weaker than the next like they are going to die soon. One did not even work at first, until I smacked it around like a hoe, for a bit. So I think a got about a 50/50 chance to having a 30 second head start on getting my real protection (ArmLite M15) out the closet.

These work only sometimes, which for a window alarm is really not good enough. Unless you don't really care about performance save your $7 and look somewhere else.

One of the four in the package didn't work at all. Several of them, after I installed them, emitted a loud 'chirp' every now and then, and no amount of 'adjusting position' corrected that problem, so those are useless to me. Also, the adhesive doesn't hold them up very long. I had to put a bit of superglue on them. I ordered another brand to replace these. Definitely wouldn't buy these again.

Item is pretty much as described. The alarms install quite easily, and are 'instantly' effective. Would like them better if the sound was just a little louder. Good value.

This is a great idea! I wish these had been out when I was growing up! I just wish that the sirens were a bit louder.

These were super inexpensive and of course, I did not expect much. However I did expect them to at least work for a few weeks. The plastic battery compartments broke off, the dual stick adhesive does anything but stick. If you spend a little more money you can get some very similar but at least they might work for a few months. These didn't last a day.
