Great for the price!
We have had this player for a few months and it is perfect. I paid less than $40 for this player. Although it is nothing fancy, for the price it exceeds my expectations.First, we bought this for our bedroom TV and it isn't our main player in the house. We use it mainly for streaming (Amazon and Netflix). The interface is fine for these and reasonably fast. We have had zero issues with the wifi connection and no buffering as other people have mentioned. This player also plays the Blu-ray discs fine. No complaints there. One common complaint people had was the fact that there is no power indicator light. While true, this is actually the main reason I bought this player. I have a dark room and I have always covered up the clock or light on previous players. I love that this player has no lights on it!This player was exactly what I was looking for at a low price. I am pleased.

Great product, small price!
This product was just as described by the seller and met all of my expectations. As a buyer, you must understand that if you buy an item that is refurbished or an older model, the item may not be of the highest functionality. I love this product! Easy hookup, good picture and sound, and easy to use. My only complaint is that there is no light to indicate that it is powered up. The wireless functions worked perfectly and it updated the apps in less than two minutes. Really, just a great value. I would buy again.

Much better than the Sony I had before it, this one has lasted longer than a month.
Works great, plays discs just like it should (Sony could learn a thing or two from these people) and plays content from jump drives which is mainly what I use it for. Wi-fi works just fine except for the fact that my internet is slower than a turtle dragging a log with a broken foot but that is not the players fault. The remote does not have a "keyboard" so if you are searching for something on youtube it can take a while. A screen does pop up and say you can configure another "device" for faster searching but in all honesty I am pretty sure I am not smart enough to figure out how to do that or if I even have a "device" that would work. The only things I don't like about it are: 1) there is no light on the machine to let you know it is on. I know it should be pretty obvious from the TV screen if it is on or not but one day I kept pushing the wrong "on" button and thought the thing was broken. I know, I am not the brightest star in the sky. 2) If you pause it for too long it will turn itself off. Hello, I am in the middle of binge watching the entire West Wing series, I don't even know what season I am on, much less what episode, now I have to go back and find where I left off? Now I keep a pad and pen by the sofa so I can write down the episode when I have to pause the machine. All in all I am very happy with this blu-ray player but after having two Sonys that stopped working, 1 after 4 months and one in less than a month, my requirements and expectations were rather low, 'just work dang it"

Does not come on and have to press the power ...
Does not come on and have to press the power button several times before it finally comes on. And then it don't open all the time i have to press the open button several times before it will finally open to be able to put the disc in. And it does not have a indicator light so its hard to tell if its on or off. And it kicks out several times during a dvd. I have tried several dvd and they all do it so something is not right with the player.

Blu-ray & DVD player works well
After reading some reviews I was nervous about it not working. Worked well especially considering it was refurbished.Full disclosure: I only planned to use it as a Blu-ray and DVD player so I don’t have the need to check it’s “smart” capabilities. So this review is only for the DVD and Blu-ray capabilities. Also I liked the remote. I have a Sony TV that I bought back in 2008 and the remote worked on it when I took it out of the box without programming it (though I think that was just luck). It does come with instructions for programming it for other TVs. The remote has some buttons for the TV only: volume, input, and power. Nothing fancy. The other buttons on the remote are for the Blu-ray player.

WIFI Connection Problems!
Wish I had read the reviews prior to purchase. For the price, it's adequate but it seems to have an issue losing the internet connection. No, it's not my wifi, just the player. Sometimes, it locks up and we have to unplug it & plug it back in. Sometimes, it deletes the wifi passwords & must be reinputed which is quite cumbersome with the remote control. An indicator light on the front would have been nice, it's hard to know when you actually have the power on! We purchase two of these, both units exhibit the same issues & seems to be a Samsung problem that needs to be addressed. We will be replacing both of these next year.

Great Blu-Ray player at a great price.
When my previous Blu-Ray player quit working, I knew I had to get another in order to play my disks. I found this one that had WiFi so I can also use it to stream Amazon, Vudu, Netflix and more with it. It's smaller than my older one and fits well next to my Flat screen. It works beautifully, but I don't like the way the remote is set up. I have to put in my email and password using the on screen keyboard by using the up/down and side to side keys. It takes a while for me to enter the info. Other than that it's a great player.

Eh.
Wasn't fully reset when I got it... I was tempted to add a bunch of weird stuff to the previous owners Netflix list... but I fought the urge and performed the factory reset myself.Other than that, it has been working great!UPDATE: Hasn't been working as great lately. I'll be watching Netflix and the player will randomly kick back to the home screen multiple times during the same show. It will randomly turn itself on throughout the night and sometimes won't open the media tray until I unplug the device and plug it back in.I'm thinking since the player wasn't fully reset, there was no actual "refurbishment" that took place. So if you buy one of these, be sure to make sure everything is reset... if not, they likely just threw a returned/defective item back in a box and shipped it to you.
