Obviously a product of great scholarship and devotion. The book/CD combo has one limitation which surprised me: the Tibetan version of the text is presented only in Tibetan script, rather than in romanized/transliterated English characters. This means you can't chant along with the Tibetan version unless you are a native Tibetan speaker. However, a PDF of the Tibetan pronunciation can be downloaded from the author's website (dawnmountain).

The book arrived promptly and even better than I expected.It is wonderful to read and understand the evolution of the Heart Essence text through the teachings of Adzom Rinpoche. Also having a chantable English version creates a real liturgical experience that could otherwise be lost in translation.

Excellent! A treasure!

Anne Klein is quite qualified as a scholar, and the LongChen NyingThig a classic Tibetan text.
