Amazing!!! I have fine thin curls down my back and it gets tangled easily and detangling has always been a nightmare, but today for the first time in my life I actually enjoyed detangling my hair! I recommend this 100%

Piece of crap! The bristles folded after combing my hair twice. I have little, fine, hair so it's not hard to comb but apparently this couldn't even do that. I had tons of knots under my hair and this wouldn't reach them. I'm using mine as a dog comb now

Can not say enough about this product! I have two special needs daughters who have severe sensory issues, especially when it comes to brushing their hair. Our mornings used to consist of many tears, attempts to flee from the hairbrush as it was causing them physical pain. I even at one point had to cut my middle daughter's hair as short as possible in an attempt to get her used to brushing her hair as it grew out again, so that the problem wouldn't be so bad for her. Which, in a degree it did work but it wasn't enough. Then, I got my hands on this hairbrush and instantly my daughters were no longer crying or fighting to get away from me when I brushed their hair. Now, they fight over who can have it so that they may sit down and brush their own hair or help brush each other's hair. Its seriously been a world changer here in our household. Even my son who has decided to grow his hair out has declared this brush as his, even though its pink due to how it feels when brushing your hair. My only issue with it, since I have really thick hair that I tend to wear up a lot is that I have a hard time putting my hair up with this hairbrush. I have seen SO many people rave about this brush and for the longest time thought that everyone was just blowing smoke about how awesome it is for thick, long, and hard to brush through hair. When my brush got caught in my hair last week, as it has many times before, I finally had enough and decided that I needed something better to deal with my hair. My hair is very thick and is not an easy task to brush no matter what length that it is. It actually makes my shoulders and arms hurt after brushed my hair and that is not a fun thing at all. The package arrived just as I was about to get ready for the day and it lined up perfectly with me getting my hair all brushed out and done for the day. Since I work from home, I typically keep my hair put up but I still like to make sure that my hair is brushed out very well and has no bumps or knots in it at all. Typically, it takes me about 30 minutes to get my hair brushed out and I have to do it in sections. Right now, my hair is only about 3 - 4 inches beyond my shoulders and that is pretty short for me. I wanted to really see just how well this worked so I did not move my hair into different sections. I took my hair down and just started brushing. I was beyond shocked when it went through my hair so easily and did not cause me to make some ugly faces while brushing my hair. It went through my hair so easy, even when I moved it to the underside of my hair. I did notice that since my hair is a little thicker that I had to brush from the top and then flip my head over and brush under the bottom as well to make sure that my hair was brushed all the way through. It cut my brushing time in half and made me not hate trying to do my hair! The design is nice and it is easy to hold while brushing your hair. I love the bright pink color and now our teenage girls want their own. I guess I know what they will be getting for Christmas. With the price, I don't mind purchasing the girls their own brushes and I know that they will love it just as much since they have thick hair that gets tangled easy as well. My daughter has wavy curly hair that is a nightmare to brush. Couple that with a tender head and school mornings are a struggle. Her hairdresser was actually the one who suggested a detangling brush because her hair had significant breakage so we decided to try this.The brush is lightweight and has a plastic handle and bristles. It is a good size paddle that handles enough hair at a time without being so big and cumbersome. The bristles are actually a staggered length which combined with the bristle material type is what is supposed to help detangle the hair. My daughter loves the hot pink color handle and it helps us to easily spot it in the drawer.Though I don’t understand how it works, she swears it makes getting the tangles out. I wish the bristles themselves were a little longer because it does not get all the way through her dry hair without sectioning it. It does work better on wet hair though which is not as “fluffy”. Whether it is like Dumbo and his feather (she is easily influenced by “as seen on tv and saw a commercial that swore these worked) or if there is actual science in the design, I don’t know. I do know that mornings are easier which is all that matters to me. Also, we are using this brush in a hot humid environment so I can not speak to if creates excessive static electricity.I purchased this product at a discount in order to provide honest and real life observations and opinions. Looks cheap, definately not what I expected. The way people made it sound was like it was soft on the hair and detangles knots. I have long thick hair, the bristles didn't even get through my hair. The only time I think I would be able to use this is when I'll be combing my hair into a pony tail. It's a regular comb. Nothing special. I'm a bit disappointed.
