Not for me.
I came to this book with high expectations. I enjoyed the early pages which covered the authors experiences as a youngster circa 1950s, including his meeting with 'the Welsh Poet'. Descriptions of the walks undertaken were very well written and enjoyable to read, but for me there was simply just not enough of this as the writing slipped into endless talk of poets, writers and artists and at this point I almost cast the book aside. I kept at it and enjoyed latter parts of the book. As a previous review suggests, this book is probably one for 'fans' of Ian Sinclair and I realise he has many. Nicely illustrated and as usual a nicely produced book from Little Toller.

A mixture of Celtic & Gothic......
Interesting read, but difficult in places unless you are used to the style of Ian Sinclair. Definitely one for fans.
