Bought for my sons shoes, the laces he had were too long and tired of fighting with him to tie them. Now everyone is happy, took about 10 min to put them on both shoes.Update: One side of the bracket that keeps the sides together fell off and was lost within 2 weeks and the other shoe lost one shortly there after. The little screw and bracket are not enough to keep the shoe laces attached to it. Disappointed and on to trying something else for our sons shoes.

Bought these for my daughter's vans. She still has not master timing shoes and when getting ready for school, she needs to be as independent as possible. She loves the color. I was also able to use just one lace for shoes since she is a kid (shoes size kids 13), which gives us an extra one for future to replace or use somewhere else. The directions were pretty easy to follow, when you get to the burning part be ready to blow out the flame as they light up quick. The only down side is they are still pretty strong for little kids to pull on when putting thier shoes on. Hopefully this will get better the more we use them and break the laces in.

Product works well, magnets strong and the screw grabs the lacing and holds it. Don't need super glue for these. con- screws are very,very,very small. Includes tiny screwdriver(nice touch) The product appears solid, just remember that you are dealing with very very tiny screws- you only have about 2 spares.

I got one of these earlier this year to make my work boots faster to get on/off and ended up loving them. They only take a couple minutes to trim and install, and then they are both easy to use and really good looking. Overall they look like regular laces with a simple metal clasp at the top.I ended up getting several more for other pairs of shoes, and here's where my problem is: the quality control on these is poor. I've bought four sets of these laces so far and two of them have been defective and needed replacement.One shipped without any of the clasps or fasteners at all. One shipped with the fasteners, but after struggling for several minutes to get the screws into it I realized the fastener holes on it weren't actually threaded: the hole was totally smooth, and the screws were just jamming up against the sides.I like the product, but at the moment I have a personal defect rate of 50% on 4 sets. I still recommend these laces, but look them over carefully on arrival and be prepared for waits and returns.

I love these laces. As I've gotten a little older and less flexible, not having to ties shoes is a game changer. My feet slide in as easily as a pair of slippers, yet they are secure and snug to my feet when walking/hiking/skipping/hiking! (I don't actually skip though) My first pair seem like new after 90 days so they seem durable, but time will tell...Pro tip: Make sure you have them set to the proper length prior to cutting. I would set them up loose then gradually tighten them up. I made the mistake of cutting my first lace too short so it was a little too tight, but the second one was cut perfect and worked so well I bought enough laces to replace all my old school ones with these.

They do not do what I wanted. In order to not twist my ankle they have to be laced too tight to be able to take off. The color however is amazing so I will be keeping them. They would work just fine on normal shoes.
