Using this while I recover from sciatica: on the stairs mostly but most also as part of my physical therapy. It's been a godsend. The rise is only 4 in, which makes it a 2/3 moderate step for my staircase, which is a little over 5 an 1/2 inches high and not to code. We worked out a little dance based upon a YouTube video that makes it a whole lot easier for me to climb stairs and for my husband to help me. Takes a little longer, but it gets the job done. It's well made, lightweight and easy to fold.We did have one little mishap in that it collapsed when I was trying to get in and out of our shower which has a pretty high curb and I put my whole weight on it. But took a good look at the thing afterward and was able to snap it back together again with no loss to stability. Problem solved.Totally recommend this gadget for climbing stairs, getting in and out of the car, etc. Pay serious attention to weight restrictions and don't use it as a stability device until you're fully tested about whether it can handle your weight.Not only would buy again but did buy again, to use as a standby or to make getting up the stairs even a little faster.

Within two weeks it collapsed under my mother’s 170lb weight. I was able to pretty much snap it back in maybe 90%, but you have to be careful to step in the center of the step. It’s still functioning well a few weeks later, but a solid block or two would be better unless you need the superior portability this product gives.

My bed is to high for me to get into easily, this step stool has been a great for me. At 5 foot with physical problems, I am so glad I found this. I broke on me and with these types of items and materials there are made of. I was waiting for it. I did not want to go back to the hospital. Sellers and consumers be careful.

Used to help a stroke victim get in and out of car. After just 68 days (3 x a week) it broke and damn near caused a fall. It's probably part of a land fill now. While it lasted, it was a good product, but even the strongest ABS plastic has limits, and this item is not for heavy duty use as it has ZERO reinforcement in it's plastic hinges, and they wear quickly. I cannot even BEGIN to imagine what the Texas summer heat would have done to this item....

I do like this step platform. Easy to step on and fold when not in use. I like it so much I own 2, so it can be used in different parts of the house without constantly looking for it.

Makes it easier to get into tall truck or VAN. Lightweight but sturdy. It would be great if it had some kind of strap that you could use to pull it into your vehicle behind you.

Love this product

I am just under 5ft. tall and need step stools quite a lot. I have this one in my utility room and it fits under my cabinet door so I don't have to move the stool to open the door, yet very accessible when I need to reach in the washer. It's very sturdy and of good quality. I would definitely buy it again.
