Great puzzle!!!
Every year I buy my nephew a very complicated puzzle, well to me it’s complicated. So usually they are the wooden puzzles and he has a room full of them already created. So for his birthday I decided to do this one. I cannot wait to see it put together. I got excited when I saw you could create crazy shapes and change it from a spider! He will be so excited! I will follow up with pictures!

It will take some time and you’ll need some patience, but worth it in the end
I definitely enjoyed this build. I was a little skeptical after reading some of the negative reviews. But I will agree it takes a certain amount of mechanical skills to assemble and I could see how it would be difficult for a young adult. With the fine thread screws and locknuts for everything, it also takes a lot of patience to assemble. The instructions are pictures only and no description of how they go together. But for a young adult that’s just like any Lego set. It gives you a parts list and then shows you a completed image of what it should look like when you’re done. I recommend only emptying the pieces you need as you work. Unless you have a good open space and can keep them all separated and correctly tagged. some of the images were a little difficult to figure out. So I try to get good clear images to show you what it would look like as you go. Also I highly recommend when you assemble the leg sections, with the spring. Don’t be afraid to make it a little tighter and keep those parts a little snug with the spring tension. Because when fully assembled you’ll need to adjust the legs to counterbalance the speaker. I read some reviews that said the legs do not support the speaker. I had no problem getting it to balance my speaker. You just have to make a few minor adjustments to the legs, and the legs are meant to shift and move around to adjust the stance. This was my first of this type of model to build and definitely interested in more. So I hope my few images and little description helps you with the project

If you tinker, you'll get a kick out it.
Firstly, yes, the instruction photos could be better. All said though it's pretty intuitive. Just remember when you're mounting the legs, the pyramid points down. The speaker isn't going to rock the house (frankly my phone does a better job) but this is ment to be a really neat bit of tat, not a sound system. The tools included are more than adequate (kinda slick really) and the little bag with a few spare parts shows some thought and consideration was put into the kit.All and all a great purchase for yourself or if you have a tinkerer in your life. Might gift a couple myself.

Give these DIY METAL KITS a try!!!
This was fun and a bit challenging as it was difficult to see the instructions regarding a couple of pictures. Went back to the listing and was able to see a little clear on my iPad/and phone by finding user manual and also looked up videos on YT. Took me much longer than I thought. The cross wrench that comes with the kit only goes so deep when your turning a nut onto the screw so you must hold the nut with a pair of pliers and then use the screwdriver to turn it down. I know it sounds like a bunch of “That’s what she said” but with the spider model there were many of these.hopefully someone new to these DIY METAL KITS will read it and help them out. If your hesitant on trying this out, just get it. It’s fun and occupies the mind.

Poor instruction photos
It's a beautiful looking model but the photos in the instructions are too small and too dark. Can not see the details, leading to much trial and error putting it together.

This model was fun.
The coolest thing about this model is that none of the parts are unique. You can find everything at a local hardware store. You could recreate it on. Any scale. I think I may get the stuff to build one around a.larger speaker. The instructions are clear and easy to follow.
