Works Quickly, Instant Itch Relief, Affordable
This product works very well and quickly. It gave my dog instant relief. I like that it is a spray and not an ointment because it made it MUCH easier to apply. I wanted to prevent my dog from chewing on her inner thigh. When a wound begins healing it becomes itchy. This product contains 1% hydrocortisone which alleviates itching. It does not have a smell. The price point is affordable. A little bit of this product goes a long way even though it is NOT a huge bottle. I purchased the product to treat a cut/wound by dog groomer. The wound was on my dog's inner left thigh. I applied the spray 3 to 4 times per day for 5 consecutive days. I still have spray left over! My dog, Annie, was accidentally cut by the groomer when Annie made a quick move. I also purchased triple antibiotic ointment from Amazon (recommended by my vet) to treat her wound (triple antibiotic ointment used by humans). Please CHECK with your Vet first if you are on the fence about treating your dog or cat (or other pet) with this product. The product worked wonders on Annie. It definitely helped with itching and prevented my dog from chewing on her inner left thigh. I ordered another bottle of this product to have "on hand" and I am glad I did. I ended up NEEDING the product again as of March 20, 2025. I recommend the product for the above reasons.

It calms itching.
This works well and stops the cat's itching. But only when I can catch her! She hates the spraying. I have resorted to spraying my hands and rubbing them over affected areas.

Same as vet product !
I have a chocolate lab that gets that funky rash on the bottom inside part of one of her paws. I have a precription shampoo but ran out of the spray. This spray was the closest I could find and it DOES work!!! If it’s a paw issue you must wash and dry area prior to the spray . I have been using this spray for about 4 days as directed and it’s been working just as good as the prescription spray.

This Didn't Work
It really didn't help. He still started scratching right after I applied it!

GREAT customer service
I'm updating my previous review (below) because the seller contacted me and was very concerned and caring--and gave me a full refund. I appreciate a seller who really stands behind their product! It's possible that I simply received a defective spray bottle. I would not hesitate to buy from this seller in the future--they really care about their products and customers!Hard to get it to spray! Especially with a struggling Chihuahua. The spray bottle only works if it's in exactly the right position, and using both hands...can't do it. I bought it because I thought it would be easier to apply! I wound up having to pour it on cotton balls and I applied it like lotion. Could have bought it as a cream; cheaper! Plus, it had NO EFFECT ON ITCHING! Big waste of $15!!

Seems to work well
Listen: I read the other reviews and came across the panicky one about the first ingredient (propylene glycol) being toxic to cats - then I started panicking too and went down the internet rabbit hole. All I could find is that it is no longer used as an ingredient in cat food but nothing stating one way or the other whether topical use (and obviously small amounts ingested in grooming) were safe. So I brought it up to my vet and she said this was perfectly fine to use and that the panicky review was probably getting it confused with propylene ethylene (which IS toxic but IS NOT an ingredient of this product). So that said - how well does it work? I don’t know - I keep asking my cat and he won’t tell me. I can say he’s fine with me spraying his lower back which tells me it doesn’t burn… but he doesn’t like the spray noise too close to his head so I cotton swab those parts. When rubbing it onto his rash I’ve gotten some on my hands and it does feel soothing and smooth - similar to my face moisturizers with collagen in them. I have no idea if it’s helping or not (he’s also on steroids and antibiotics for this crazy allergic reaction he’s having) but it doesn’t seem to be hurting.Update several months later: I’ve now used this to treat another round of allergic dermatitis and it definitely seems to help calm the skin and keep them from biting it more. I am a fan.
