The texture is soft, and it fits nicely. I really like the light beige color. The stretchiness works well and makes it easy to remove the cover. We purchased our first cover four years ago and still have it. I've noticed with my previous covers that avoiding the dryer helps extend the cover’s lifespan—I just place the wet cover loosely over the sofa to air dry.(No pets or little hands have been exposed to this sofa.) This cover is from a different seller. The product is the same, but this one did not include cushion covers like the previous one. Also, they aren't waterproof.

Having just purchased a new sofa we needed to ensure our four large breed dogs not only didn't get up on the sofa, we wanted to protect the sofa from being drooled and slobbered on (one dog is a Saint Bernard), plus we wanted a cover that would keep from collecting a buildup of hair from our other three dogs (Bernese Mt. Dogs), which are heavy shedders. This Subrtex Sofa Cover High Stretch Couch Slipcover was just the ticket for us, as we needed to ensure it would fit the higher back of the sofa we bought. Since our sofa also had removable cushions, this particular sofa cover also included cushion covers. As for fitting the cover on the sofa, it was quite simple and it fit over the contour of the sofa arms nicely as well. The cushion covers fit nicely also. We were concerned at first from the product pictures as to how soft the cover would feel, since the surface appeared to be cross hatch ribbed (small squares), but the ribbing grooves are shallow and hardly noticeable. I'd say it fairly soft and not as coarse I thought it might be. So far after a couple of months use it looks good, cleans well and seems to keep from attracting much hair clinging to the outer areas the dogs tend to rub up against. We added several color coordinated throw pillows on it, which helps dissuade the dogs from wanting to jump up on the sofa. Overall, were happy with our selected purchase, it's doing what we wanted it to do, the chocolate color matches our great room decor and it's a whole lot easier cleaning the slipcover than the sofa it's protecting.

LIGHT gray is more medium gray. Disappointed. However, this is a reorder & needed different color. Easy to fit & washes well & lasts even with 2 dogs. I like the product but color not correctly described.

We bought a new couch and have pets and really wanted something to guard against dust and hair but also some protection from nails since the dogs and cats jump up and down. After a month this thing has been absolutely perfect. Our couch doesn't have removable cushions so we only used the sofa cover but it has so much stretch. It covers all the way to the bottom underneath so no original fabric is showing. It's a nice texture and has held up perfectly after a few washes with no loss to stretch or fading (I do use dark protect liquid in the washes however). It does take two people for us to get it on correctly, it's kind of confusing at first, but once it is in place it does not move. There's been no tears in it from animals being on it and best of all the cats don't see it as a scratchable surface. Overall this has been a 10/10 purchase.

These covers are great! I first purchased a couple for my vacation home sofas. They fit like a dream and made the sofas look brand new! They were easy to put and moulded themselves to the sofas curves.I have since purchased several covers for easy chairs, dining chairs and for sofas in my living room, and family room here at home. After spending literally hundreds in covers to protect my furniture, I have found the best and they are very affordable. The colors are beautiful and material is so soft. My pets lay on the them and have not destroyed them as they have others in the past. These are easily top ten of the items I’ve purchased on Amazon. Don’t hesitate, buys these!

Holding up really nice even with my German Shepherd's claws. Stays on and still looks great. Very happy with my purchase.3 months later. My dogs claws did rip the cover. I stitched the rips for now.

The cover fits well and goes over the furniture easily. It does not slip off the leather couch. We purchased this to protect the couch from the kids and dogs. However, we've had this less than a month and there are tiny holes EVERYWHERE. It simply has not held up. The fabric is more blue than grey also. It also attracts and holds onto dog hair like a magnet. It does wash easily, however. If you have dogs or kids I simply do not recommend this as it is thin and not durable at all. Otherwise, it will do the trick and is a cheap option for less busy households.

I bought this cover to replace the old, tan one. It supposedly had a non-slip backing and it draped over the sofa. You can tell from the photo that every time the dog stepped on it, slept on it or sat on it, I had to readjust it. It was also way too easy for him to pull off the armrests. I did a lot of research before buying the Subrtex 4 piece set. It was a bit of a struggle to get on the frame, but it fits well, as do the cushion covers. You can see it stays put. I haven't had to adjust it. My dog sometimes paws at the sofa before he settles and the cover has held up well. Unfortunately, he did manage to chew a small hole in the corner of one of the cushion covers, but it doesn't show. I like having the option to buy just another cushion cover, but I think I'll wait until he's out of the chewing phase before I do that! Of course, I also sit and lay on the sofa and the cover is very comfortable. Quite soft. I'm very pleased with the purchase. It's hard to tell color online. I ordered the denim blue, which is a bit more baby blue than I expected, but it's pretty. I'm considering ordering a dark cyan set as a backup when I wash the denim set.
