By applying this temperature rated tape around the perimeter of your air filters, a tighter seal is established, thus preventing "blow-by" (leakage) of air passing around a filter. Low density closed cell PVC foam coated on one side with a high performance acrylic adhesive. Has very good flexibility and conformability with high strength, chemical, wear and moisture resistance. Used in automotive, HVAC, construction industries and for gasketing in speaker and electronic components. Also used for filling and sealing gaps around windows, doors, and car/SUV tops for better insulation. Tensile strength: minimum 15psi. Service temperature: -40F to 180F.

Good product, not sure on how long it will last tho, no other options either!
I would take one star away but nothing else to replace this unless I want to start cutting metal!It was a tight fit at first but after 2 months it shrunk a little, now I have a little gap and I can not add more cause it is not that much of a gap, I will monitor it and add if it shrinks more, but this may be expected as heat may be doing it, but still it is supposed to be made for this purpose.
