Very wellade
This pre-filter is made with a finer cell perforation than most others. It keeps more dust and large particles from reaching the main filter, while allowing airflow. I modified the one I bought to fit a GY6 stock intake filter. Needed trimming to length. It actually fit the circumference better than the original unit.

Wish these was thicker for vacuum pressure within the carb, and manifold.
A little , need more restriction to draw air properly, or you will run lean.
