Excellent Product, but ...
I used this product on a series of small flat roofs that I built to protect condensers and a grill. Applying it to a complex shape takes some skill. One can easily get it all tangled up in itself and everything around it if one does not know the right technique for applying it. Basically, cut it to fit, lay it down, peel back the paper protecting the gooey side from a far corner to pin it down, then, keeping the product as flat and in place as possible, slowly pull the paper on an angle off the product. Pull in small sections and use a roller to iron out wrinkles as you go. Note that once applied, the product is aluminum, not white. I doubt that this product would stand up to rough treatment like falling branches, but one can walk on it once or twice while applying it to a larger area.

Great product
I had a really bad leakages on my PVC patio shed roof , we installed product a month ago and so far so good , is a little tricky to install specially like my case when you can't step on the roof , plan in advance before you remove protector paper , once it stick , it will stick for good.

OUTSTANDING
Peel & seal is very easy to work with, can be cut with a utility knife to the size you need. It sticks to just about anything that you need it to. I applied it to my entire mobile home roof with very little effort, I have a older metal flat roof mobile home and it had sprung leaks over the years. and decided to put a new roof on. some of the estimates for a new roof were between $5,000.00 & $8,000.00. I did the math! For just under $2,000.00 I did it myself, over time when I could, weather permitting and without breaking the bank. total time was about a month. I have had no leaks since and believe me living in Northern NEW ENGLAND we get a lot of rain. I recommend peel and seal to anyone who has a flat metal roof on their mobile home or any flat roof. At 63 yrs old, if I can do it so can you.

Waterproof and Reflective
I have used this product on a couple projects and am very impressed so far. Most recently I used it to seal the roof of a shipping container that I am using as a waste storage building. The roof had rusted and was leaking in several areas. I first tried elastomeric roof paint, which helped but did not fix all the problems. Peel and seal to the rescue! It went on easy, stuck down well, no more leaks.Previously I used it on a flat roof addition to my home. The rooms below were warmer than the rest of the house as there is no attic space, only 6" joists. The existing roof was basically black tar paper. I applied the Peel and Seal to hopefully extend the life of the roof, but also for it's reflective value-to make the rooms below cooler in our South Florida heat. It definitely helped with dropping the temperature inside, and I also feel more comfortable walking around on the roof.I would strongly recommend wearing leather gloves while installing, as the edges can be quite sharp.

This stuff is great!
I had put a new flat roof on my front porch but after the siding was back on there was a small gap between the siding and the roofing where the stick-on flashing was exposed, and that stuff isn't made for sun exposure, plus it was ugly. I bought this to go behind the siding and to overlap the roofing by a couple of inches. The stuff is pretty thick, with a very sticky layer of tar on the back and a textured, very white layer of thin aluminum on the front. It is easy to cut. I used a lot of short pieces (2' or so) because it is so sticky and is hard to handle in long lengths. It seals to itself very well so the extra seams were fine. I could slide the pieces up under the siding and align them at the bottom, then rub them to stick them down.I'm not sure if the pieces will make a waterproof seam where they stick to the granular roll roofing, but the existing flashing will prevent any leaks, plus the water would have to go uphill. I suspect that it will seal though. The stuff did the job, it looks great, and it didn't take very long to install.

Love it!
I sealed my goat barn roof with this fantastic product. The roof had a very slight slant and in Florida during the heavy rain, roofs just don't hold up. This product sealed every square inch of the roof with no leaks. Durable and also very pretty. I am a older woman and it was easy for me to do this job by myself! Great product!

Unconventional use
I used this in an unconventional way. I needed an underlayment under vinyl tiles in the driver's area of my RV, I was careful to butt the joints and not overlap, and the self-stick tiles do lay nicely on it. This product cuts easily, and while it can be re-positioned in the first few minutes. it sticks fairly permanently after that, so don't plan on the ability to change your mind a few days later. I like that it lowers the noise level in the front of the RV.
